I adore how Linkus is trying to show off the Co-op randomizer, but Smant is just constantly thinking "So it's a PvP randomizer?"
Honestly I think a competitive randomizer would be great for this and be super interesting to watch, of course we'd need to see if it'd work, but having separate inventories for some key items would require them to negotiate deals on tackling progression obstacles together. Then, they'd need to try to gain the lead again and set their time apart.

After watching ZFG do randomizer for so long I think I became a little desensitized to how hard it really is. Watching these two do a seed that is *relatively* easy, it really puts it into perspective. Great job Linkus and Smallant.
OoT online randomizers existed for a while now I remember a year or two ago I think it was where I would play with 4 to sometimes 8 people and it would take a few hours to clear specific seeds 😂

as far as a logic seed goes I'd say this seed looked relatively tough, probably a bit easy compared to a normal logicless though.

@GoldenWingsSmash-qx4cb the easiest way is probably to use the Ship of Harkinian PC port. It has rando built in. Or if you're specifically talking about the multiplayer you need a version 1.0 rom and OotModLoader.

Great teamwork between you two here lol. It works so seamlessly! If it could be scaled up even more, I'd love to watch 2 teams of 4 players each compete to see who could complete the same randomizer seed the fastest - assuming you could get 8 Ocarina of Time experts together for it!

I know that for the sake of the flow of the video, a lot needed to be cut, but I would love a series of videos edited in the same style uploaded to Linkus daily! The love q's were hilarious and the whole stream was great (I know editing two perspectives takes a while but it would be great content!)

Didn't know multiplayer had pvp/friendly fire. Made things a little more entertaining! Yahaha! I liked the questions and how subtle they were placed in until being caught. Ahaha Never seen Pierre block off a cliff before. This was very fun to watch!

@@HinkHallI thought the same, but as far as I know the PC port still doesn't have a multiplayer function (not counting the fairy mode).
It’s a developer version of Ship of Harkinian, should be released in a future official build ^^

It's not an emulator, it's part of the Ocarina of Time decomp project known as Ship of Harkinian

They started off killing each other, but at the end they were helping each other
i played this game as a kid and its brings me happiness as a 30 year old watching people still enjoying the game in their own way.. but nothing beats being a kid growing up with link as he saves the world, truly life changing.

Well, at least the sponsor is at the beginning instead of right in the middle. Start and end are the best times, because it doesn't slow the pace.
Is there an option to not have shared items between players? I think it would be cool to go through some of the puzzles with the items being split so that you have to work together more
There is something called Archipelago that could pull off something like this. And even better, it works across multiple games, so you could link an OoT randomizer to, for example, a Mario 64 Randomizer

I love that he found that 36 Questions study. It's one of my favorites!
The point was to see if you could accelerate human bonding using scientifically-proven methods to improve connection. They originally hoped to find a way to manifest love essentially, but only one pair in the group got married. Of the rest, however, every pair but one stayed in contact as close friends, potentially for life!
That's why I love this study. Great questions, methods, and ideas for how to get to know people you're around and to make potentially lifelong connections!

Pretty sure you can have 2 separate games linked up with each other's items as well (I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to see the other player for they are in their own game). I think you can even make it up to 3 players. I haven't seen them much but they seem like a ton of fun!
