Well, I have an ultra boost 1.0, I use it every week, it's not exactly like a new one of course, but far from saying it bottomed out, I can still feel the boost pretty well, and it's still more comfortable than every other shoe I own, I really can't get that "bottoming out" thing unless you're an active runner or really really heavy person...
You are right. I had 1.0 up to 4.0 and the 1.0 is the best. Idk why but the boost still hold up much better than the newest one. Maybe they change the compound mix of the foam for cheaper producing cost? I guess.
I am not a sneaker head by any stretch, but I must admit these videos have peaked my interest in some of the shoes you have both shown. Like I have stated before, Mr. Foamer Simpson and Young Buckets don't forget the Esquire keep up with up the creativity, hard work, great attitude and vision. Anything else would be uncivilized!
Love ultraboost, have 3.0 and two pairs of 4.0 and can't get enough! Boost is definitely king of comfort in my life, I only seem to wear Adidas now! Nothing comes close 👍🔥😍
Wørthy as Kang I own a pair of EQT 93/17s, which most people consider to be the most comfortable boost shoe, and I have worn my friends ultra boosts for short amounts of time. For 1-2 hours, the EQT is definitely more comfortable, because it is softer and more “cloudlike”. For all day wear, in my opinion, the Epic Reacts are better. They are firmer than boost, and more responsive which feels better to me, but I understand why boost is more comfortable to many people.
I absolutely love my ultra boost, I work 10-12 hour shifts wearing steel toe boots all day and once I change in to my ultra boost im good as new I can just keep on trucking
Boost or more specifically prime knit and boost together is life. Until a company makes a better combination of comfort as a whole shoe, there's no reason to look at other sneakers for me.
I have 5 pairs of Ultra Boost, wear them in rotation, they might last for life this way. Uncaged do the running and gym work, the rest have an easy life. Favourite pair is the triple white reflective pack, they’ve had the most wear (over 18 months) and no signs of bottoming out.
Can u make a video comparing and contrasting the Ultraboost 1,2,3, & 4.0 please? I know ide love to watch that and I'm sure many many other subscribers would too!
I’ve been wearing the ultra boost 3.0 for almost two years and I’m really impressed, they’re a good looking shoe, comfortable, durable. I’m looking forward to buy and rock a new pair anytime soon.
I'm 210lbs, I wear they daily and walk at least 1 hours with them and maybe 5 hours a day total. I go to the gym with them They bottom out in about 2 months. After 1 month, you can feel a big difference. Really sad.
The ultraboost is definitely the most comfortable shoe I’ve worn but I have to admit that I’ve been wearing the Pegasus turbo for like a week now and it’s sooo comfy. I think it’s the only shoe I can say that matches the comfort of the ultraboost
I've got 2 pairs of ultra boosts that I've had for a little over a year, the 3.0 burgundy and the 3.0 parley blue. I've worn them basically every other day switching off, and they've held up really well. The biggest noticeable thing is the scratches on the plastic cage on the burgundys, but that's bound to happen. They are still both very comfortable, and I don't think they've bottomed out much. Also, I threw on a lot of water repellent protect spray when I first got the pairs, and that has allowed me to avoid the yellowing of the boost, they still look really clean and new which is awesome. Obviously I'm careful where I walk in them so they don't get too dirty, but I haven't had to clean them much and they look almost as good as they did brand new!
I just got a pair of 4.0’s from StockX in the mail today, I have over 14 pairs I actually wear every day of the week, hopefully these will be able to find a spot in the rotation
I just a pair of UB22 this Aug 2024 and I clean it every after wear. It still looks spankin' brand new until today even if it had the most mileage of running between 2 more running shoes (non boost ehem, Puma Nitro) After wearing other shoes and gettin' back with the Ultraboost, it always felt like a dream. Cushioning is much more appreciated after wearing non boost shoes.
I’ve had my 3.0’s for a little over a year now and they still have a little life left in em, regardless they are still the most comfortable shoe I have ever put on my feet.
Dear Mr.Foamer, thank you for making these videos. I enjoy watching your videos. Especially the beginning of your videos where you open up with much energy, love.... It helps me motivate and remain positive throughout the whole day. Your merch are awesome. You give out the best sneaker reviews. Keep making these awesome videos and continue to be a blessing to others. Salute.
UB is by far the most comfortable. I own 4 pairs and I love them all...perfect for the daily errands or the gym. Been wearing my triple black 3.0 for about a year daily to work, and still in perfect condition
I rotate 6 boost sneakers for 2 years almost every day. 1 Ultraboost 4.0, 2 Pureboost, 1 NMD Chinese year edi, and ETQ Goretex (when it's raining a lot) The one with the most damage in the sole it's the Ultraboost. Both Pureboost look dirty but quite new, and the same with the Goretex. The NMD its little damage inside and you don't fell the boost anymore. I'm over 120kg and feel Ultraboost its more for less weigt/heavy people. But at the end of the day...all are amazing confortable sneakers. And they really change my day life, i end the day without knees pain since i wear them.
I am glad I saw this video. My triple black 3.0 are my daily’s. I woke up one day and noticed they weren’t the same. I didn’t know it was due to “bottom out”. Thank you
I have at least one of each generation of ultra boosts. I have not experienced the "bottom out" phenomenon you refer to in this video. I also prefer .5 up.
That's why the 20's have denser boost because boost bottoms out. But because of this they're less comfy in the 20's. But they're just prolonging the inevitable. But most people rotate different shoes anyway so this is more unlikely, and less bad news for those who doesn't. The uppers of 20's though is fire. May even be the best knit construction pattern ever IMO in terms of durability and mix of support and stretch.
Got to wonder: I weigh 145 lbs and take a size 10/10.5. Is it likely (possible?) that people who are a bit lighter, with larger feet that spread the weight across more of the surface area, who walk in the shoes rather than run and are in a moderate climate may never really experience a bottoming out of the ultraboost within the life of the shoe, compared to someone who is much heavier, has a comparatively smaller shoe size, who runs in them and maybe lives in a very hot or very cold area?
I currently have 10 pairs of ultraboost: 1. 3.0 V1Triple black X2 (one on rotation and one on the freezer) 3. Multi color 3.0 LTD 4 UB Mid Run thru time 5. UB Mid Kith X Nonnative 6. A Ma Maniere X Invincible 7. Trace cargo LTD 3.0 8. Grey leather cage LTD 3.0 9. UB A kind of a guise 10. UB Nemeziz Triple black They all miles away more comfortable than any air max I have owned imho. I haven't noticed any bottom out cushion wise... so... boost is life Don't get me started on my nmd collection cuz...
Never tried ultraboost before but ordered a pair of ub19s and they're on their way to my door step right now really looking forward to trying them also never tried any adidas shoes only nike lets see if the ub19s can change the tide for me
I have the exact same burgundy pair been wearing it for over a year, though it bottoms up slightly but it still feels freaky ass comfortable and bouncy
Boost is life, wear for work and they are the most cozy but did your math and 300 hours is almost perfect! That’s when they started to be just a little less cozy!
I’ve had them for a year as well and wear them close to daily and my shoes haven’t even seemed to start bottoming out and I wear them a lot more than 300 hours and also at the gym doing running
I have a pair of ultra boost 4.0 that I used for over a year now and I used them for everything. They look like they are gonna fall apart but they are still super comfy. Im gonna replace them with another 4.0 cozz I dont really like the 19.
I actually bought 2 pairs used. I payed 20€ for a Ultra Boost 3.0 for women which are the Tactile Blue I think. I restored it, and they look brand new now. I went a size down, and the women sizing fit me even better because they are slimmer. Now Im waiting for my Ultra Boost 3.0 Triple white which I bought for 15€ in a great condition. They just need a cleaning and maybe an unyellowing with Sole Sauce. But the restoring of the Ultra Boost is more easy than the yeezys boost material. Do they use different Boost?
Primeknit on my boost has ripped twice... just from natural wear, bottoms on them are also cracked and yellow, loved them so much when I got them, but think the lifespan is very short on them being fresh
Boost is life, if your one bottomed out there are a lot of cheaper boost shoes that you can rock all day. Or just pick up another one. This is the boost circle.
Absolutely man, that's what I thought. It's too bad when you wear boost everyday and in 6 months is not nearly as comfortable as they used to be and then you have an air max 97 or vapormax and in 6 months it's even more comfortable than it was right out the box so it's better to invest your money there long term I think

I have the 5 year anniversary model and i love them......except for the fact that after only a week of use the tread nubs in the forefoot have almost entirely worn through. And i know it isn't just me because after a month my pureboost dpr's are just fine and its the same pattern

One thing why boost is better than vapormax is, vapormax gives a feeling it pops when you walk. What I want to say is, boost is alltime comfy but vapormax is comfy when I "jump" on my heels...
Mine have “bottomed out” but are still daily wear shoes. Like you said, not as good as the first week, but not uncomfortable by any means. I switch between them and NMD’s.
@@DwyaneWadeCounty Personally, I would say they are still much more comfortable than an AF1. They’re still more comfortable than most shoes honestly. I still throw some of my old UB’s on after months of not wearing them and am surprised at how comfortable they are compared to other shoes.

boost is life. but the ultraboost has a relatively short lifespan when i compare them to my nike huaraches which kinda sucks because they are nearly double the price. although straight out the box ultraboost might just be the best thing ever.
I have now adidas ultraboosts for 1,5years still amazing condition from all running walking long miles climbing everything is perfect still i will wear until i cant no more recommended to buy in black street look ⚡️🍺❤️❤️
my ultraboost and pureboost dont bottom up ... maybe its because im about 74kg ... not 150 ... and i wear them as dayli shoes and i do 10km+ per day ... sometimes much more ...
Anybody here got any solutions for fixing a tear in the primeknit? I have a pair of the AKOGS and my dog accidentally got his nail stuck ://. Anybody had luck with adidas either??
Boost is life, but life is short. That's why they bottom out.
Ooooooooo. Nice.
Nike should use that

I’ve never had any boost sneaker bottom out
Ya that’s smart, rotate them and they could last years as if they’re fresh out the box!
I agree. The UB rotation is crucial to the longevity of the boost
I feel like since the bottom out happens over time you don’t even know when it has. Compare yours with a brand new pair and you’ll see they are done

how s this "rotation" work?

boost is life. but the ultraboost has a relatively short lifespan when i compare them to my nike huaraches which kinda sucks because they are nearly double the price. although straight out the box ultraboost might just be the best thing ever.
After the boost buttom out, how comfortable are there compared to Air Force 1s, which doesn't bottom out?
Any plans to drop the Prison Mike hoodie?
"I didn't even have to use my AK"
I have now adidas ultraboosts for 1,5years still amazing condition from all running walking long miles climbing everything is perfect still i will wear until i cant no more recommended to buy in black street look ⚡️🍺❤️❤️
Still wearing it 2019-2022
They need a harder heel no support and its puts pressure on the knee because of it . Maybe its only noticeable if your a heavy person.
my ultraboost and pureboost dont bottom up ... maybe its because im about 74kg ... not 150 ... and i wear them as dayli shoes and i do 10km+ per day ... sometimes much more ...
Anybody here got any solutions for fixing a tear in the primeknit? I have a pair of the AKOGS and my dog accidentally got his nail stuck ://. Anybody had luck with adidas either??
