I've not made a defense video for quite some time so here it is! Despite Nigel Benn being known as an exciting fighter in thrilling wars he was very defensively adept once he refined his style, he utilized his bobbing and weaving to counter with huge left hooks and right crosses. The Dark Destroyer at his best! PayPal donations: hanzagod@mail.com / www.patreon.com/haNZAgod

@L R who said AJ is cherry picker fought all best opposition available apart from wilder unlike the bum hunter fury Joshua currently has best resume in heavyweight division
Can you do an Anthony Joshua defence video pls cuz even tho he he’s known and popular for his offence, I feel like his defensive ability is always overlooked and underrated
@L R but yet they all act like fury is some second coming that fights the best ridiculous
My favourite British fighter absolute legend dark destroyer
How do you feel about conor benn
@@michaelmercado6828 yeah I like Conor I don’t know if he will become world champion because it’s a difficult division I think he should go to 140 if Taylor moves up because just to many killers at welterweight spence bud Porter then you got Ortiz and Ennis coming through
@@billystone8204 don't forget Keith thurman
@@michaelmercado6828 I feel he needs to keep his overconsumption of eggs in check.
Benn had a great bobbing and weaving defense to set up his left hooks and right crosses.
I wish him and Toney got to business back in the day. Would've been a good match
It would have been an execution. Toney was a lot better.
It would be a more competitive version of Toney/Barkley - but still thoroughly one-sided (in Toney's favour of course). It would be entertaining while it lasted...
At about 3:19 to 3:21 I like how Nigel Been lifts his arm/elbow to parry the right hand of his opponent and them rolls/weaves the rest of his power punches
Im going to rewatch Nigel Benn vs Eubank now
It was a great fight
This is why he is known as the Middleweight Mike Tyson
A tune and a f*****g half!! Perfect for the destroyer
This man was an all out machine, either he knocked out or he got knocked out!! Much respect for a man like that!!! Brought it always right on the table!
Finally, a good nigel ben Highlights video
Let’s go nigel
Always gave the fans what they wanted to see from a dangerous pressure in-fighter!
Nigel Benn bobbing and weaving is simply poetry
A ferocious fighter.
Hands, you done picked two of my favourite things: a Nigel Benn highlight video and The Prodigy! Good choice with Firestarter, suits Nigel (feels like I’m taking in the 3rd person!) to the ground. Great work 👍🏾
Nigel Benn was absolutely awesome. At a time British fighters were supposed to be straight up boards behind a light jab! He came along....
Sick fighter. Sick video!
He's like a middleweight tyson with his bob and weave. The Dark Destroyer was definitely a problem and always gave exciting fights no matter the outcome
Nigel Benn was my childhood hero. At one time this was the man I wanted to be like. As a man now he's still my second personal favorite boxer. Joe frazier will always be my all time favorite but Nigel the dark destroyer is a man I still admire to this day. He truly is a beast 🥊
Hi haNZAgod I would like u to know ur work is greatly appreciated keep producing bangers
Underrated defensively
You should make a Carmen Basilio offense highlight in the future. Great video as always🔥
Legend
Perfect song.
One of the greats
Azumah Nelson defense highlights would be sick
Benn + Prodigy = Nirvana. Great video as always!
OMMMMGGGGG I LOVE YIU FOR THIS ONE
Been waiting on this 1
Simply amazing job as usual bro. 👍 ✌️
nice channel Bro rezpect! Benn's aggressiveness still in our eyes
it was w his bobs and weaves he landed those overhands on mclellan turned the fight around.
Good video keep it up 🔥👍
Mini Mike Tyson
That's what they called McClellland
@@Rowlph8888 Yeah cause he had amazing punching power stylistically I think Benn is a better comparison tho he even copied the aesthetics with the black trunks and shoes.
Nice 👍🏽
One of my fave boxers. I really love the other video made by HanzaGod
I wonder how all-action fighters like him are able to maintain that same level of aggression all through. Same as Russell Westbrook of NBA Basketball. I have often read that "aggression can't be taught"
It is a subject that really intrigues me. To keep up that level of aggressive intent, does it mean you hate your opponent in a way?
Gteat anylisis i guess its just something ur born with
Some fighter was nigel🥊💪👌
that a man
The scene in Britain is peaking now and Joshua-Fury will be huge. But take my word for it if you weren't a boxing fan back then: Benn-Eubank was the best British rivalry in the history of the sport.
For brits it was the best rivalry. Americans have a plethora of rivalries to pull from
@@musak.4068 Yeah, but I'm American and I pick it over a lot of domestic rivalries here. It was great.
Gonna highlight eubank?
The most exciting all action boxer there ever was and ever will be he was absolute value for money!!!🥊His greatest fight for me was Gerald McClellan I couldn't actually believe he was taking this KO specialist on but to get knocked down first round get up and then go on to beat him the way he did was phenomenal!!!
McClellan wasn’t himself, thats not to discredit Benns win, but Benn was considered shot by that stage, so its very suspicious that a shot fighter takes punches from a guy like that.
The irony is it was in the 2 Collins fights benns defence was at its best ever
It was aa shadow of himself, washed up, from selff abuse. That Collins aagainst 1993 Nigel ben, would have beenn a diifferennt story.Colliens was class though
The music kind of makes me want to see him punish his opponents a little more 💪💪💪 the music is more about punishment
You can't really have a softer track when it comes to Nigel Benn. He looked aggressive even when on the defense
👍🏾
Can you make a Dean Francis video please?
The British Mike Tyson
been beat iran barkley something i rate highly
I’ve noticed you haven’t done a compilation of Chris Eubank. Out of curiosity, do you see yourself doing a video of him in the future?
Possibly I've had that request many times before but for some reason I've just never had the motivation to make it. I guess I'm not much of a Eubank fan
I think if Connor Benn continues to be handled and guided the right way then he will go all the way.... But his dad was the bollocks. Hard as nails..
🥰🥰🥰🥰
he used it for offence to
)🤝
"The people's champ"
sped up boxing footage does my fucking head in
Nothing is sped up?
@@hanzagod I know you didn’t but there’s clips in there that have been. Watch referees and the crowd you can tell. Idk why people do it but I’ve seen it before in other footage. Unless ofc I’m going crazy and it’s all in my head
@@hanzagod actually maybe I’m going mad lmao looks good now
@@tevitaphillips3196 Looks all fine to me
He has a similar style to smokin Joe Frazier
Comparisons to Tyson have to be drawn
👌🏻)
Conor got some work to do to ever be as good as his father even then he won't be
