The final boss consists out of multiple bosses, with the last boss having 4 different phases.
Here is every fight (in order):

I love how this game is living proof that the Kirby lore isn't just something made up by fans. This fight was a huge plot twist in the deeper lore and the devs knew that.

@@liamerolduffy7738 in the kirby lore there's actually, dementia,war, suicide, genocide, death by hypotermia, immolation, autodestruction,post apocalyptic since shivering star is most likely the earth after an ice age, the haltmann idustries also mechanized it, betrayal,beings able to destroy the entire fucking multiverse, possession, literal incarnation of death, loss of dear ones, depression, abandon, loneliness despair and sorrow X) the games are indeed for childrens but the lore is most likely not damn i love this franchise oh and poor taranza who was forced to help kill his childhood friend and lover queen sectonia (who never transformed into a bee but infected multiple beings in her quest of beauty, yes she's a parasite, it's literally her race, she parasited so many beings she forgot what her original form was) haltmann who thought his young daughter was dead when an accident with the main computer occured he then dedicated his entire life to bring her back and reactivated and ancient machine to resurrect her, got corrupted by this same machine (star dream) then his daughter susanna patrya Haltmann got back home many years later but he was so corrupted that he forgot her, he actually remembers just before his death saying i quote: whi did i reactivated such a terrible machine? oh right i remember, it was to see her again... how foolish i was to think a machine could do something like that then simply got wiped out of existence poof erased, in true arena star dream os deems his soul to be useles so he erases it too....what a damn monster the ancients created
Mainly it's the confirmation that there's more than one nova in the galaxy which no one saw coming, so there could still be more out there for bad guys to use. Novas are capable of rewriting reality as shown by star dream and in kirby superstar, so it'd be bad news if another fell into the wrong hands.
I love the fact Meta kn8ght is so prepared, he has a keyhole for his sword that fires the front of the ship, just in case

Since Kirby and his mech were merged with the Halberd, it's likely the Keyhole was to eject Kirby and undo the merger.
Proved to be what Kirby needed since it allowed him to trigger the GIGA DRILL BREAKER and finish Star Dream.

So we get the classic Meta Knight boss battle, then we get a Kirby 64 style boss battle, then we see a Dimension W type plot twist, then we finish up with a Star Fox style boss fight with a reference to one of the most overlooked Kirby characters ever...Galactic Nova all in the final battle. Kirby you never cease to amaze me.

This is, in my honest opinion, the greatest way that the best Kirby game could end. One of the best fights mixed in with the hypest ending, and three simple plot-twists.

Actually, the Halberd wasn't that badly damaged in this one. It only got clipped on the wings in the opening scene and the final part of the boss fight.

What I really like is that due to how Star Dreams plating falls apart in pieces, if you're paying attention you could realize it's a Nova before the reveal. However with how much is going on you barely have time to realize it before the final piece falls off
Plus, in the attack where Star Dream gains arms and spins around, you can see the Nova's full face for a moment.
This is hands-down the most EPIC final boss level of any kirby game. Ever. Hands down.

They have. Return to Dreamland specifically mentions "Clockwork Stars" (AKA Novas) are a creation of the Ancients. As was the Star Rod and several other powerful artifacts in Kirby history.

Robobot Armor Halberd Mode, the best Final Weapon of all
in essence, it's the combination of 3 past Final Weapons: Starship from Superstar and Super Star Ultra cause it's a special vehicle shooter fighting a clockwork comet, Ribbon's Shard Gun fom Kirby 64 cause it's the power of 2 characters (Kirby with Ribbon in 64, with Meta Knight this time) and a special force (Ripple Star's Crystal then, Haltmann's technology now) in an alternate form with a front camera shooting control style and Master from & The Amazing Mirror cause it's Kirby holding the power of Meta Knight in the form of one of his most iconic resources (Galaxia then, the Halberd now)

@@yourfriendlymemedeliverygu7493 Nil, has more attacks than that, Also, that comment wasnt about Who is harder, but Who is better, i find Void to be the best Kirby final Boss, and its True form is really hard, and then comes the Astral Birth, that bullet hell Boss.
I consider the Star Birth as the ultimate Boss in the franchise, dude, its literally meant to remember all the years with Kirby, and to expand crazily the Lore, Also It stays consistent by only using dark Matter powers, as It was summoned with darkness only.
UA-cam's new feature that shows the most rewatched parts of a video tells me that Satoru Iwata appearing in the credits is one of the peak moments of this video, and I think that is nice.
