I did a pretty sick 180 yesterday...
😂😂😂
Dude. They should make a full length documentary on you landing it.
Me too, I was walking to the loo, remembered there was no toilet paper, and swiftly and smoothly turned around to go get it.
Absolute insanity! I remember when the 1080 was the end all be all.
These dudes are doing video game tricks in real life. Congratulations.
So gnarly I thought the same when I pulled this trick off in shredders the other night lmao
Exactly! I even used to own a Nintendo 64 snowboarding game called "1080" hahah, it was indeed THE trick... And 25 years later this guy is doing it twice...
Haha yeah I remember like 2010 when douple cork 1260 was a huge deal
Have you ever had an original thought?
@@SshuchdbeHwshe-kd2or Yeah, a few times. 🤣 Here's one...
My buddy and I painted up a board for a Lady that wanted a Playboy Bunny on it. Maybe a year later Burton teamed up with Playboy to make damn near the same board we cooked up, different color scheme.
Backside Quintuple Cork 2160 Indy grab🔥🔥 I always wondered when somebody would pull this off. Folks, this is progression at its highest level and history has been made. Hiroto is an absolute beast! It`d be sick to see this trick executed in a contest
Probably not big enough jumps in contest for it yet
No it wouldnt
Is the size of the jumps the same as the Olympics or FIS contest? Maybe not even close?
@@janmarecek8473 Is the size of the jumps the same as the Olympics or FIS contest? Maybe not even close?
@@vane5594 I would say Fis and Olympics use smaller than Xgames but I dont have any figures to prove it
Thank you for this tutorial. It’s my first season snowboarding and I landed my first 2340 today thanks to you. I just had to remember to commit!
This short two minute video brought amazing feelings of joy to me this morning. Stoking right now.
Hyped!!!!
I did one in Steep before this.
Lmao
Bloody legend!!
I do it in Ssx3 xd 😂😂
The sport have evolved so much in the last 20 years... This video is EPIC !
I’ve watched this clip at least thirty times and it never ceases to blow my damn mind. That kid is a beast
This is what the 9's is all about. Epic progression sessions with a truly creative team. I'm sure several people learned something new and pushed themselves a little further 🙏
🤯🤯🤯 Mind blown!! Congrats! Such good vibes and energy as well! With a beautiful course setup. Progression on all levels!!! Stoke levels on high 🤘
Absolutely insane cant wait for this season and the raw narl yhat will undoubtedly follow!!
This is seriously SSX tricky level stuff, and it didn't even look that cool in the videogame. So awesome. What a great athlete. 👍🏻 Congrats to this dude. Go Japan!!! Many great boarders from there.
Creativity, collaboration, and progression. Snowboarding is the best.
Unbelievable….that’s insane! What a moment!
Unreal. Congrats 👏
Congratulations Hiroto Ogiwara! Welcome to the special human club!
カッコ良すぎる🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely insane
This is surreal 👏🏻👏🏻
So sick 🤘🏼
That is the most insane thing I have ever seen
This is insane 🤯 .
This accomplishment really needs more attention in Japan.
so sick
wow! congrats!
O my God So sick 🔥🔥🔥
So sick!
Unreall !! The GAME just changed !!
It is great the youth of America are pushing the LIMITS! from a 65 year old x-freestyler 👍👍
he is japanese
That was maddddd!
History has being made!
Unforgettable
That's just Awesome man ..
imagine him landing that in a comp , Game over 😜👍👊
Not really, Marcus kleveland landed the first quad in comp, but still came second
pretty smooth too! grab made it 👀 clean🤙🏽
Lit🔥
This also inspiring
filming was on point
Appreciate that! :)
Insane
Remember when we thought SSX was fake?
If God gives me the chance I swear my boy will be the greatest snowboarder of all time. Remember this
He legit could’ve pulled it around to 2340
Can't believe this was just done on skis.
History
good gawd!
Knee grab included, that’s gold material for sure 😅
Wow, that's it ladies and gentlemen
Представляешь, до тебя так не кто не делал! Крутой мужик базара нет
A backside 180 grab looks better
Remember when 4-5 years ago it was incredible that someone did a 1080... i dont get it... where do you go from here? Someone will cab it next year...
おめでとう! 人類初!
He’s a human spinning top …. He was spinning so fast holy
Whaaatt!?!??!??!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👽👽👽👽
So…quintuple cork? Either way that’s the most insane jump I’ve ever seen!!
Wouldn’t that be sextuple?
2160/360=6
ついに回転数が西暦をこえてしまったか・・
Anyone know the name of this beautiful track in the backround? ❤️
Монстр 👹🤯🤯🤯
I watched the video when it had very few views, actuallly within minutes of it being posted… everyday I literally tap into my search bar on UA-cam, instagram and google the name of tricks that are yet to be landed… I regularly see these “world’s firsts” minutes after the actual videos are posted…
Both Kuura Koivisto and Alex hall have landed switch double 21s, with that said Ahall Buick grabbed the living S out of it and is the only person to have landed a 21 in competition so yeah mad props to both of them !
Hiroto is the first and only snowboarder to land a 21 on a snowboard let alone a QUINT and he effing nailed it…
No one should be talking a little hand drag given the unprecedented feature he has accomplished not to mention he has plenty of space and time to improve…
Mark my word he’ll be pulling 2340s in no time, matter of fact I think he might have had enough air to spin it instead of the 21 🤣 he probably wouldn’t even have touched the snow if he did….
“Pushing the limits” is what we want to see them do and gosh did he deliver !
Congratulations brother you would have given the Olympic commentators a speech impediment.
I did this in 1997... PS1 Cool Boarders
😭😭😭😭😭
Will this be the maximum possible in corks and spins? Don't think so, let's see what comes next🔥🤪
Let's send it bigger next year!
@@SwatchNines Maybe hire a good editor for once. This stuff is a joke of the industry.
@@mymomsbasement69 so negative :(
@@mymomsbasement69 wow dude, lots of chirping eh? Trying to get noticed? Lets focus on the absolute cannon balls on this guy for throwing it down and the editing was just fine.
Pause it right at 1:16 when he releases the grab... there's room for another 180 there.
💪I go to the alps and practice to 😂😂😂🙄
Looked like he had another 180 in him too
How many 360s is that?
man's playing SSX IRL
”The Helicopter”
Quint 21?
Can’t even land this in shredders
Damn japan is turning out some good athletes now adays.
Do a 2340° !
Is the size of the jumps the same as the Olympics or FIS contest?
It's bigger!
Hand drag
this video inspires people who teach 180 I would have met Anna Gasser, she would have stayed with me in Moscow and trained me Lena T can come to me, she is also good
Is it actually a quintuple cork ??
First on skis and now on a snowboard, this is insane
A hall only did double 2160 on skis not the same at all
@@jordifolch4832 also did it switch tho
True i forgot abt that
@@jordifolch4832 Same for the boarder unless you don't know what constitutes a corked rotation.
@@mymomsbasement69 board above head means he got corked, and I counted 5. A hall did it twice.
the guy cheering the loudest is likely his manager.. he sees the dollar signs
Snowboard Naming conventions are kinda strange. Anyway, awesome trick
0:59
Okay…so I guess they’ve gone ahead to the future with the 2160 lol
Millenial Spin! :)
Quint cork? Jeez man
Wait holy shit this guy is 16????
Yup...
I remember when 1080 was a big deal
Is this an actual quint cork?
he could have tweaked an extra little 180 in there for the 2340
And he’s 16 years old too
WHAT IN THE F BBQ....DAMN
He spins so fast it looks sped up😂
..even with video games I couldn't
Now it’s gonna be judds turn to do it
Majority of girls do this! Flat land, parks, half pipes! They aim at the stomp, while vast majority of the boys aim at the pop-up /air time. Skating, snowboarding... This is the biggest difference in performance. And this is why quad 2160 cork boys vs 720 flat spin girls!
he still dizzy 😂
America y'all better step it up..
空中で沢山回転したいなら、滅茶苦茶危険だがジャンプ台の片側にブレーキパッドを付けて摩擦で引っ掛かって減速するようにすれば、今の2倍は回転できるかも。
Moronic resonance’s stock just went up.
Next Marcus Kleveland?
This is sick! However, it’s a bit to much if you ask me. I’ll take a slow and nicely executed 540 over this any day. Anyway: we’ll done, respect.
Why are people so obsessed with how many times they can spin around? Hats off to the guy and glad he's happy with his achievements
Because it's very difficult and humans have always tried to push the boundaries of the impossible.
@@SpicyPotatoe I'm sure there are other tricks that would help also very hard to do but also more creative and stylistic than just spinning around extremely fast. How about a less of a spin with a styled out tweak or a really unusual grab? If you weren't told he dud a 2180 or whatever it was none of us would of known anyway as its impossible to count the spins after 3 anyway.
@@bob6693 I totally understand where you’re coming from. I think the reason that spins are mostly all you see in snowboarding is because there’s really not much else that can be done off a park jump. Skateboarding is a more versatile sport with a lot more possibilities.
@@stevetucker5851 yeh you're right but there's a lot you can do inbetween spins that can still be technical yet stylish. For me the knuckle huck is way more impressive.
Same thing with Figure skating, there are more tricks they could do but most of the time the more spins in one jump is more impressive
Why did you have to edit this guy in with: "That's it, that's fu*king it, that's it, FU*C!" It ruined the experience for me. Anyway, awesome trick with awesome landing! Congratulations!
HO-LEE-FAK
wouldnt 5 rotations be a 1800? im confused. he didnt spin 6 times
Definitely was 6 spins. You're probably missing the very first 360 that happens almost immediately as he leaves the kicker. He went off axis 5 times.
