Used a Caterpillar with 4 Quarrellers, all class A components and team mate on the double Rhino turret at the front. Took down Massive locations solo, but it was hard work. Multiple hammerheads. Be careful not to wreck the cargo on enemy Hull-C’s. Hit Vet rep for the mission while playing for a day. Great fun. No empty ships encountered.
Here's something no one is talking about. The number of active players. November 2023 saw 800k active players. August 2024... 43k active players. See MMO Populations. Draw your own conclusions.
@@AlleniumProductions I mean it’s pretty obvious when you look at SC content view counts across the board. SC is always cyclical though, Nov last year to Oct this year isn’t really apples to apples because of the CitCon effect; last October was about 100K and now is apparently 65K? That doesn’t seem huge to me, let’s revisit this in a month post CitCon and compare this Nov vs last years Nov when it comes?
Wish CDF rep had value! Enjoyed what I have done, keeping an eye out for another group run to join.Corsair has been quite successful as a solo ship but first run I expected for some reason that the landing pads had worikjing cargo lifts! BUT...if you were not planning on doing the Blockade Runner mission and its running where you base yourself that's a real nuisance.
Sell it at Brio's Breaker or any salvage yard for more profit under a Unverified Mission. The problem is the elevators are too small for the large boxes and second is that the elevators are usually broken. Very hard to find a server where they are not.
What do you guys think of the rewards? I feel like there should be at least a slight reward per scu delivered... as a mostly solo player it was A TON of work for almost no reward.
@@RudgerBlake tbh the rewards are on the crap side. I think our folks doing combat lost money after repairs and restocks. For me it’s gameplay > money but I do think a per scu reward is needed and it generally needs buffing.
Agreed. Every server I've been on in the last week very few players are engaging the event. Players just avoid the station blockades. i had a good time just the same but would have appreciated more assistance.
Just tried today and played for about five hours. Using Corsair I was able to hit a couple targets and turn in zeta. Then I spent the next hour killing targets and finding no zeta. Seemed like no one else on server was even taking part as the count stalled at around 200 SCU turned in. Overall huge waste of time. Spent a couple hundred thousand equipping ship and buying tractor beams in case they were lost. Made a grand total of 0 UEC. 5 hours to make a -200,000 UEC.
Yes I was only able to make around 30K off the mission and that barely covered the fuel and repairs. Granted I was doing it solo because no one is doing this mission.

@@AlleniumProductions The more hardcore they go the less active players they will have. Hardcore survival games have less active players than fun casual games. They have to find a way to balance the hardcore or make it more FUN, and at least easier. The more tedious they make inventory, the more hardcore it becomes. Since 3.15 introduced looting and losing stuff upon death, the number of players i see wearing stuff other than the white noob suit is very small. Used to be everyone in the ASOP lobby wearing some cool unique combo of armor in different colors and configurations. None of that anymore.
I have given up on events. The patch runs well actually and so does the event, but every damn i try to do anything social and interactive in SC, which is events, i run into hoards of pvp gibbons that take enjoyment by screwing others over. There isnt even a single pirate reputation ( which includes rewards or benefits ) in the game yet. The people just thrive of ruin other peoples day. Sorry for the rant, im just pissed i cant enjoy my favorite game. If they ever bring PvE servers like any other proper MMO, id be the happiest guy.
@@RoxxSerm I would imagine rather than “PvE servers” you’ll have low risk low reward servers (*star systems) in game where players are effectively protected from PvP interactions. Tbf I’ve now run Blockade Runner about 6 times and on one run we had to deal with 2 people PvP’ing. I’m also pretty sure that was a dumb situation where Guy A shot Guy B because he appeared hostile (but wasn’t actually PvP’ing) then Guy B got tilted and went after everyone.
Im lucky enough to run with an org, so I was running the c2 with others, while we had some heavy cover! Def needed from NPC'S but yeah, also from pvp hungry players..
"You'll probably make something like 100K for this mission ... Hopefully, you'll find it fun enough that it won't really matter." - Nope. No, I don't. Earning money is fun. There are high-risk, high-time, resulting in stupid little payouts.
Guns, every time I come back to your channel it's so cozy and informative. Just a word of encouragement and appreciation of the work you do!
Great video! In case you brought the big and Loud Guns :D make sure to use staggered fire to minimize the risk of hard unaliving the target
I ran out of tea! hot water will do.

Thx for the shout out mate ❤😂
I land my starfarer Gemini side ways for the same reason too in the large hanger lol

I’m curious to know where the thieves can sell ZP.

Kinda need the ships to spawn the cargo 😅 which isn’t happening lol. Still dig your guides bro 🤙🏻

Don't waste your time grinding. Go to a MMO broker and buy 50M aEUCs for $20. You'll have a lot more fun.
