Been driving my Spresso for 3 months now, and loving it! Definitely worth the price. And with today's fuel prices, this car's efficiency is heaven sent! I run 14-16km/L in the city, 20km/L on the expressway. I drove to Zambales recently, with roofrack, full cargo, and 3 adult passengers, and recorded an actual consumption of 16.89km/L!
Got this as my first car during the pandemic. Love this simple and straight forward car. Very dependable and you can take it anywhere. I occassionally take it to baguio and tagaytay and it can handle hanging in steep roads. It's almost 3yrs old and planning to buy a bigger car but I'm still going to keep my s presso.
Yes! The way I see it, it's a great starter car but oncd you move on to bigger, better ones, letting it go is not an option for me! It's a great personal car :-)
@@DC-do4bd no I haven't changed any. I like it the way it is. If you're asking about repairs, i haven't done any either. I just take it to the casa for regular maintenance.
I bought the 2021 version & used it for daily drive.. easy to maneuver, easy to park & very fuel efficient.. just don't expect too much especially on its power.. so liit & sulit.. 😁
I am getting 14-16Km in city and 22 in Highways! Best fuel economy and refined engine....great value for money car! I am using this for nearly 20months.
It would be great if Suzuki would bring in the AGS(automated manual transmission) version of this car to the Philippines, it will increase sales for Suzuki. Not only for beginners but to experience drivers as well who wants something small, with a high ground clearance as well as doesn't want to deal with using a clutch because a lot of people commented that it doesn't have a automatic transmission option
Proud owner of Suzuki S Presso. Already 1 week and 6 days old and super enjoying it. Can't wait to get it car wrapped probably before or just after my first PMS ♥️♥️♥️🥰
@@ZigWheelsPhilippines If it's a 400cc or above for the motorcycle, this one beats it for sure. If it's anything below 175cc and/or Fi, that's an impossible task. My Mio M3 does 46km/l 😂
Sir Roy, calling this a suv is a stretch. Its a high riding hatchback. The SE though doesnt make sense to, its just more body cladding and alloys that go on your monthly payment. But if you buy those extras outright(which many have done, shout out to the official Suzuki Spresso Owners Club)it saves you more in the long run, if you really need them that is. What i thought they would have done is ditch the manual and implement the AMT it gets in other markets to get persons who really dont want to drive stick. Finally the price of the SE is close to the Dzire which is a bit more practical and safer(it has ESP and hill hold). But if the budget is tight and you are in the mood for a hatch then its probably your best bet.
ive owned one for 6 months now and I gotta say. a lot better than a tricycle hahaha. first time car owner dahil may baby na for safety and this one has an ISO fix tethers for your kids child safety so yeah para sa amin na gantong kotse lang ang afford a big plus. matipid sa gas. 500 sa gas from pampanga to subic balikan. matagtag nga lang compared to other car pero malamig aircon
What more can you ask for? -leeroy Ags! -everyone Great review as usual roy, yes the spresso isn't perfect when people base it on it's equipment/specs. But it's exterior, interior, and engine character more than makes up for all of it's short comings. And yes the ags variant is still a far fetched thing coz if they do bring that over here, it will eat up the sales of the celerio. Thanks roy and zigwheels for the spresso review part 2! Cheers!
AGS on the S-Presso is certainly an interesting proposition but if it gets priced at 650K-700K it loses it's appeal! This certainly would not be the last time I'll be featuring the S-Presso!
@@RealRoyRobles agreed hehe it's strongest suit is its price tag and economy as well. But you know what needs an update? The Dzire, just a few things here and there like smart keyless entry, push button start, drls, projector headlights and reverse cam(i don't recall if it has any...i should watch your Dzire review again then hehehe), android auto and apple carplay, and probably leather seats in the totl. And yes can't wait for another spresso content brother, we're still saving up for our own cup of "coffee" though so pretty excited as well. Thanks again Double R
You're not alone. I ordered a ride here in Lagos and I was surprised when the driver showed up with this car. The ride felt surprisingly comfortable, compared to a ride in a Corolla which I had earlier that same day. I asked the driver about his experience with the car so far, he was all smiles. He's really enjoying it.
The thing about having smaller wheels is, they make it more easier going uphill, able to carry heavy loads and being more efficient at the same time giving it less unsprung weight. Which is why they use the type of wheels on their kei vans/trucks like the Suzuki Carry multicab or the Bajaj RE that uses 10". They are capable up in the mountains even at heavy load but a pain in the highway because it limits the top speed by a lot. The engine will struggle so more if you replace it to a bigger one unless you're willing to invest on a lightweight forged aluminum wheels
Exactly! Plus the effects on fuel economy are significant. Having a wider track would really improve the ride feel though and the looks but will have a negativd impact on performance from the dinky 1 liter engine.
I'd say the S-Presso does better, for sure :-) the Dzire is a larger and more comfortable vehicle and is better in every way except price (and character for me) :-)
best budget car under 600k. Don’t just expect it to have a cruising speed of 150 kph.😂 17-20 km/ltr can be achieve running at 80-90 kph. This is just a chill driving car but can overtake any car if it’s needed.
Scrap the Celerio and give AT and more love to the Spresso. AT lang kulang nyan and I bet papatok yan. Tingnan nyo yung face lifted Celerio? May bumili ba? Mas practical pa ang Spresso specially sa mga 1st time car buyers.
The Celerio, certainly has it's own market and I shudder at the thought of a 650K-700K S-Presso! It's no longer going to be worth it at that price point even with AGS, if you ask me.
@@RealRoyRobles The old celerio had its own market but not for the face lifted version. Based on the comments I've seen so far here in YT, people prefer the Wigo compared to the new Celerio since its cheaper. Imagine if they just place a regular AT on the S-presso it should have a chance to dominate the small car market. Thats what I think.
That would be something, I agree! But if giving the S-Presso AGS means breaking 650K, fuggeddabbouddit but, YES. I hope that eventually Suzuki does release one with 2 pedals :-)
