Good session that Dave, same thing happened to me back in July with the split ring failing....luckily i had just plucked the Bass out of the water as it went. Well done, some lovely fish.
@@kelloekayaker cheers mate much appreciated 🙏 yeah thankfully the fish was out of the water, would’ve been a shame had it parted and left the hook in the fish. Thanks for watching and tight lines 🙋♂️
Again I'm going to have to say wow wow wow! Just like that cracking sea trout caught at cambios 6 lb. that I had to commit on again !ya nailed it with a good session of lure bass fishing cracking vids and tutorial 👍keep it going cheers
Well done David, pleased to see the Bass playing ball for your efforts. Great scrappers the old spikey, nice part of the world also, recognise the area mums the word lol.
David thats got to be my fave video youve ever put up !! Bloody fantastic that bud !! I love my bass fishing but as you well know it can be frustrating lure fishing for them on our northumberland coast .. you get them but nit in any numbers and ive had many more blank sessions than fruitful ones .. switching from the 125 to the 140 was genius as it was no coincidence you got into that much bigger fish straight away .. what a brilliant session , great technique , lure choice with logic and amazing footage from the omlette to the last cast .. absolutley loved it mate .. one of the best bass fishing vids on youtube ever 👌🏻🎣11/10 perfect bud

Tight lines bud .. 🎣
Beautiful fish David and well done mate 👌 I've noticed over the years that when the summer ends and we start to get colder nights and days those bass fight like they are possessed but also over there the bass fight much harder than over our neck of the woods🤔 Maybe it's when you get the bigger tides and tons of fresh sea water moving I don't know but also like you mention they have a beautiful blue tinge. I tell you a great lure for where you are fishing in the video and the tide moves the lure so you just sit and watch and that's a dolive and tge EVOBASS sabre. Cast the saber out and let it move with the tide and you will be very surprised by how many hits you get and how hard how hard those bass try to smash it up on the take 👍
What a great session David and a great video. Lots of good info and fish handling, much appreciated for filming this. I have a question from a previous one where you mentioned the finger protector that you use when you casting with the beach rods. As I find the usual ones that go around the wrist get in the way when baiting up ect, so I remove them after every cast and seem to remember the ones you use just go on the casting finger so don’t get in the way when baiting up. Can you give me the link to where they can be bought please and it would be appreciated.
