Props to Gibson for dealing with other brands as well.
Any guitar-like instrument?!? WHOA. That's a big step OVER everyone else. Way to go, Gibson!
Had my grandfathers ‘59 country and western fixed up after decades in a cardboard case. It meant A LOT for my grandma to give it to me, and it meant even more to her that we got it fixed correctly at Gibson. I can’t say enough how professional these people were. From communication before, me dropping it off, and parents picking it up on their anniversary and getting a small tour. EVERYTHING was an experience. Grandpa would be so proud the job you all did to keep it vintage, but also make it able to last another 60+ years. From the bottom of my heart thank you all so much. -Roger Caruthers
Thanks Roger, sounds like a killer guitar!!!
Thanks for sharing, Roger! 👍
The best product placement for Stewmac I've ever seen :)
I don't have a Gibson, but I still watch their videos. They are quality videos and fun to watch. Thanks!
Spotted a well-worn Strat at 3:57
Keep it up, Gibson 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Collin Laske is a visionary. Before he moved to Gibson I trusted him with every single one of my guitars
Seeing a Fender on the bench for a repair at Gibson is like seeing Lemmy play with Coldplay.
For clarification.... Lemmy = "Gibson" in your similitude, correct?
I just had my 335 setup + with these fine craftspeople. I’m afraid to review the experience because they would become overflowing with business and not enough time for my LP. Seriously, I never received a better anything from anyone. Almost super hero quality. Go JC!
What did it cost you?..............yeah thats what I thought.....................
Just recently I received back a RFQ from Gibson Repair and Restoration for work to be done on my Les Paul Custom.
I think many people would be surprised a the prospect of spending over $1300 for a re-fret.
To Gibson's credit they are not the highest quote I've received back for the job and are in fact very competitive in their pricing as compared to other well known shops.
And before I get a ton of reply's about the high price I'll add it is a 1986 Custom w/Maple Fingerboard which will need to be planed and refinished in lacquer. There is more involved as compared to an Ebony Fingerboard re-fret. Also, the price includes SS Frets.
Well how did it go?!?
Long live Gibson!
I love Gibson!!! Proud owner of a Southern Jumbo, an ES-335, a Les Paul and a SG. I hope they never have to go there, but if they need it...this is where I send them.
I bought my new Gibson LP Standard after watching GibsonTV, and it’s a m a z i n g... now I know that if I wreck it I can get it fixed!
Great video! Love seeing old/unplayable guitars come back to life! Hopefully Gibson TV can cover more repair & Restoration videos in the near future. Cheers!
Love the pride these people take in doing a great job.
Super cool that the shop will work on any brand.
Les paul junior double cut cherry in the polishing booth. New on the original collection? Please gibson!
Certified Platinum!!!!!😎🥇
WoW! This is a fantastic job!!!
Livin the dream you guys. Where can i apply?!
GIBSON!! PLEASE make the 1930s acoustic L5 AGAIN!!!!
Kudos Gibson, great content
This is great. I never knew they offered this service.
Id like to work for there really
Thanks, Gibson! I have one Gibby... an ES175... and my newer acoustic Epiphone guitar where they are made, but it’s good to me
Awesome guitars
Right On!
Amazing!
I saw a Stewmac neck rest!
Awezone! 😻
Wow beautiful Gibsons plus I’m a huge fan always wanted to get one but I don’t have enough money for it I might just a get a Epiphone les Paul but for now I’m going to play my Squire Telecaster
I have a 1975 Gibson gospel that had a crack by the guard. Where should I go to have it repaired?
Hey, thx for at your video... zi love it and I can save this to me
I want to repair the paint of my ES 175D 1977
Dear Gibson, In 2022 I bought a new ES-335. I just started toying around with middle position tonality and realized that is I roll the neck pickup down, my bridge pickup goes silent as well. Is this a "feature" ? Or do I have a wonky soldering issue ?
I know what I want to do for the rest of my life!
What about replating tarnished gold hardware on a Vintage Gibson Les Paul 25/50 Guitar?
What is the approximate turnaround time for a nitrocellulose finish touchup?
Did anyone spot that Kings of Leon case at 3:53? That might have been Caleb Followill's Gibson ES-325 walnut, as if you have seen Kings of Leon live, you will have seen that guitar needs a bit of a restoration, or it might be Jared's thunderbird
The shape of the case, it looks more like a firebird to me
@@nasher931 None of them play firebirds, it will be Jared's thunderbird bass
where is this repair facility at..????
Gibson , is the a department at Gibson that would do custom work to guitar already purchased ? I have a factory 2019 Flying V but I would like to customize the dot inlays to trapezoid . I would also like to change my early 2019 headstock veneer to the later 2019 where it has "Gibson" pearl inlay logo . I have a string butler on my Flying V that helps with tuning stability but have to take the truss rod cover off . The truss rod is where the Gibson logo is on the early 2019's . I paid $1700 cause I wanted a Gibson and seeing that logo makes me proud . GIBSON , can you help ??
Quick question, do you also repair epiphone finishes as well?
Probably ya, case by case. I would consult a technician.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Jee wiz I want to work for gibson.
Gibson Guitars, please read:
You said 'We have great relationships with many of our clients and artists' therefore read this:
I commented on Kings of Leon's Stormy Weather official video that came out a few months ago, and I commented this:
"Gibson guitars, if you see this, develop a signature thunderbird for Jared , an ES335 for Caleb, and a Les Paul for Matt" This comment got 330 likes. Kings of Leon have used Gibson guitars since before 2000, this shows you, you need to make them Gibson artists ; they deserve it, as they are known all across the world.
Thank you.
Wow, didn’t know Gibson offered repair services.
Can I send over my collection, simply to have the "New-Gibson", reminiscent-of-vanilla-&-sugar-cookies, scent... installed onto each and every one of them?
Is there a secret to getting Gibson to respond? Emails, calls, web form, no response. Been trying since mid December.
Same here. It really makes Gibson look bad.
Passion starts with answering the phone.
Would, Gibson’s guitar technicians do a (better) job than ― my online dealer ― in correctly fitting, and properly installing the 5x-more-slippery-than-graphite, #GraphTech® #TUSQ_XL® nuts? 🌰🌰🌰 With my dealer’s guitar tech(s), the replacement and new installation is always a hit-or-miss proposition; and furthermore, all the shipping back and forth ― puts my #Gibson® and #Epiphone® guitars at #Risk. 🚚 The #NuBone nut is not available in an XL version. Why not, #Gibson® ― just have the effin’ #GraphTech® #TUSQ_XL® nuts ― installed at the effin’ factory? 🏭🎸🎸🎸
How about starting with quality control first!

So.....this is an older video.........anything current?
So Gibson but I had buzzing I'm the D and the g string above the 14th fret and I was told that there was a slight warp in the neck. You put it on your plaque machine that didn't solve the problem and you told me you couldn't fix it and you told me either you would send me a new 2016 r9 to replace it in the same color. First off that's lazy customer service you don't people spending thousands of dollars in a guitar and you're telling him there's a little bit of a warp that develops in the neck and you guys are either too cheap or too lazy it's easier to give out a new guitar that means you think your guitars are expendable because I certainly don't I look for that guitar for a longtime picked out that specific model I picked out that specific guitar because of his residence because of its neck because of its color and because of the Flaming on the top he treated it like it was Expendable in his garbage and just sent it a new one like the cheeseburger or something it is not just a guitar it's a Gibson if you can't be trusted to correctly repair a guitar that you guys made that went wrong why should anyone trust you to fix something of theirs or something vintage I mean it seems you don't think much of guitars

My whole evening’s viewing is on Gibson TV 📺 I love Gibson and I love USA 🇺🇸 ❤👍🏻.
Uk 🇬🇧 television is garbage !!
Up yours BBC ITV CH4 ,up yours 🖕🏻😅
First
Gibson will work on other brands of guitars because they've probably failed to shut them down in the courtroom and will try and take any kind of business away from them for their own profit
Wouldn't it be better to make them properly in the first place? Speaking from experience and having to return two 2016 Gibson Flying V's, as whomever was on quality control and passed them, should have been sacked.
Find yourself a good local luthier.
Will never forget that Obama raided Gibson twice ...
They were making crap guitars at the time so Obama saved us from them. The custom shop remained safe
@@yestoES355 Armed SWAT members raided the place and that's absolutely fucking ridiculous. Big Brother only flexes its muscles on the weak.
@@nckhed let’s be honest though, those guitars at the time were garbage. Better off with the feds than in the hands of someone who got a guitar with horrible QC issues. They deserved it at the time
@@yestoES355
We SHOULD be honest, I agree!
...&, in-honesty, based on first-hand perspective, they were not ALL "crap...".
"Squeaky-Wheels" are just-that and "Not-Squeaky-Wheels", most of the time, just roll... like they're a-pose-ta.
The raids were either:
-BS... because of the reasons, on-record, that they were executed.
...or...
-They were intentionally requested by someone wanting Gibson's name in the news... Where... for several reasons, good/bad &, seemingly, ever-since... it has kinda, off/on, remained.
...IMO... of course.
