Illustrator Basics - Live Corners

- In this Adobe Illustrator basics video I demonstrate the Live Corner feature. Arguably one of my favourite features Live Corners allow me to create clean and structured geometric paths for my illustrations, and my type/logo designs. Without the corner widget feature I would have to spend far more time with the pen tool trying to create the same paths.
In this basic tutorial I break down the different ways to apply live corner radius effects using the direct selection tool. I also demonstrate a few trouble shooting scenarios that you might run into where corner widgets aren't showing up.

It's certainly one of my favourite techniques in Illustrator. I love the clean geometric work I can generate with it. Hope you can add this tip to your workflow.
Hi! Thank you for this kind video! I have a question! Sometimes I need to make the round corner manually to give different round for each corner. I can do that in the “Rectangle Properties” which is attached “Transform”below, but sometimes it’s disappear and doesn’t show. In that case, how/where I can pull up that again?
With a basic rectangle on your canvas if you use double click on a corner widget, the rectangle properties will pop up. From there if you unlink the radius sizes you can input different size radius measurements for each corner. If you modify the original rectangle with the pen tool, or by pulling and dragging points around, these properties will no longer be available. I'm assuming that's what's happening in your project. If that's the case you can still double click on those corner widgets to enter a radius in. However you will need to do it one by one.

I don't see hide corner widget
Show/Hide corner widget is located in the View Menu. Unfortunately if you’re using an older version you may not have that feature. I believe it was introduced in one of the first CC versions.
