WhatsApp Disappearing Messages: How it works

WhatsApp's disappearing messages feature is finally here, and you can start using it. You can use this feature if you want messages to disappear automatically after seven days. WhatsApp launched it earlier this month, and it is now available for Android, iOS and web users.

If someone one's the disappearing messages why should it affect the other person? I don't want the messages or pics disappearing since the other individual has onned the feature. Can I off it from my end? Will it then get offed to the other person?

The only annoying part is that the other party knows whenever we turned on the "disappeared massage" feature. 🙄

As 7 days is no longer the minimum period in which chats will disappear - a new minimum of 24 hours has since been introduced - this video is out of date and should be updated or removed.
