funny because i just discovered the superagent XCX accidentally at the AMA singing a medley of boom clap and break the rules.From the 3 first notes of the bass my head started fixing the TV screen ON ITS OWN and i just had to go on the net check on her.So I was very surprised in the other way to hear that first album (and since, her album 14 ,very impressive too for a 14 year old girl doing everything by herself).
If you know music you know very soon that the girl is a huge musical brain (and yeah good body too of course but i'm almost 40 :( ).We surely can expect her to become a phenomenon like bjork was back in the 90's.Some people liked , some hated ,but something definitely changed in pop music when she appeared .I expect the same whith the london queen.Many things to say about her music,how dual is her musical identity beetween hip hop and hard punk rock ,how they tend to mix organically in the songs she writes ,and so on, it would take hours,her music is so rich.What impresses me the most is that on both albums there is not a single song that isn't interesting in the writing and the arrangements.Some are better or stronger,but 100% of her songs are at least interesting.She must be a really hard worker.And at the end the thing I love the most about her music is that it displays a feeling that is deeply european.I'm not sure the americans will get that as easily as they did whith Bjork who is from Iceland.But really I think if you're not european ,there will always be a part of her music that you won't understand.First album is serious Charli,second album is Charli having fun ,what will be the 3rd,and the 4th,and the 5th...can't wait.Thank god for people like her.

I actually prefer her new music this is one of the only songs of her old music that I like. I think she went in the right direction. Her new music is like a throwback to old pop/punk but she reignites it and makes it fresh with her own sound and unique voice I love it. I think her new music suits her perfectly.

"The video was directed by Ryan Evans, with effects by Crim3s." Songwriters: Charlotte Aitchison, Justin Raisen, Ariel Rechtshaid. Producers: Rechtshaid. Nuclear Seasons and Grins are the duo that made me fall in love with Charli. They perfectly describe what it's like to fall in love with someone and the effects of it ending. Plus, they're fun to listen to and the visuals are astounding. True Romance is definitely one of my favorite albums
