Having the side windows zip down is better for cross ventilation. You'll see esp on cold nights. We're stuck putting the ladder on the side for now. I just tuck the side panel and screen under the top mat while crawling in a out. Oh yeah we added two 1" foam yoga mats that helps a lot and you can leave them in the tent. My hip doesn't bottom out now. Also used some packaging tape for the top rack channels top and bottom to cut wind noise. Great customer service, great tent.
The doors attached at the bottom are better when camping in rainy conditions. Zipper at the bottom has a chance of letting water in. Since the sides don't have a cover, the rain would go down the sides to the zipper.
I didn’t even know about this tent until about a week ago. As long as the mail seal that goes around keeps the rain out when it’s in the closed position, the rest of the tent seems to be great.
These tents now come with even more features. 12V hookups, LED lights, honest to god they're one of the best deals you can find. I have a little Rav4 and it's way too big but I'm putting it on anyway.
@@OverlandFlorida Okay I have it on the car, those poles to hold the awning out are total bullshit, freak me out, and are a huge PITA to deal with. Also it took me like two hours to figure out what to do with them since there's no instructions. The amount of tension on them is utterly insane.

nice tent buddy. Is there any way you can tell me how long the two silver mounting rails, on the bottom of that tent are? I need to see if it will fit on my truck rack. thanks, subscribed!
Nice. How much space is there inside for a thicker mattress or topper to still close? How dark is the tent material when zipped up in daylight- is it blackout inside?
There’s plenty of room for 2 adults and a couple backpacks of gear. You could fit something the size of a sleeping bag laid out and still close the tent. The tent isn’t 100% back out, but it is still much darker than other brands of tents like smittybilt or TuffStuff.
It was really nice informational vdo , I have question about that cross bar on top of tent ,is it enough strong to load 2 kayak around 80lb weight? Thanks
$1200 that is a great price for that tent. My 23 zero walkabout 72 is a nice tent but a pita to pack up. Maybe I'll sell it and get one of these if your review is good.👍
What type of cord do I need to buy to plug into the Anderson plug on the bottom of the tent to power the usb outlet panel? I have a power bank that I want to plug it into but can’t find the cord that I need.

There’s no pocket, unless you put them under the mattress. Limit makes a great mattress!
Thanks for the video. How would this attach to a 4Runner? Does it attach to the factory roof rack?
Yes. It can if you have the cross rails. However, this tent is rather heavy and might be too much for the factory rack.

Great review, do you have any advice on which roof racks / cross bars to get to install one of these ? I have a Toyota Highlander (2017)

It should be a USB plug.
Can you sleep two people in this? I’d like to get one but I’m not sure if I need better crossbars to support two people.

Better to have side panels zip from the bottom, keeps zipper draft at the top, instead of the bottom where you’re sleeping

Want to get into tent camping. Just started watching your videos, where did you get your pick up frame for the tent to sit on?
Xtrusion Overland is the company that makes the bed rack.
How much does the tent weigh? Will the stock roof rack be enough to secure the tent to? If not what would you recommend?
