Really loved your video as it displays the same views my wife and I had when we trekked to Gokyo in 2005. My only question is where you started from when heading up the Gokyo Valley as we came via Khumjung, Phortse Tenga, Dole, Machermo and Gokyo. From the videos it appears that you are on the east side of the valley and that the trail was not in the best of conditions. The culiminating hike up to Gokyo-RI was the highlight of our trip and offered unparalled views of the mountain expanse from Cho Oyu to Everest to Makalu and surpasses the view from Kala Pattar. When talking with people going to Nepal and the Khumbu Region we always recommend going to Gokyo.
For 8 years UA-cam (owned by Google) has prohibited me from responding to comments on my own videos. They did this because I refused to join Google+ and link my UA-cam account to my real personal identity. I value my privacy and believe everyone online has the right to be anonymous if they so choose. For an unknown reason, today they lifted the punishment. In retaliation, I now preface all UA-cam responses with this message so it can be known publicly what they did. Shame on you Google! I apologize for the delay and I appreciate my subscribers and anyone that takes an interest in my videos. Thanks for the link. :)

Our 18 day trip included Kala Pattar, Everest basecamp, and the inside connector route which does not go over any passes. I have a separate UA-cam video for the Everest basecamp half of the trip.

If you freeze frame at 5:38, you are looking at Mount Everest, Nuptse, Makalu, and Cholatse.
The mountains look like frozen ocean waves. You have done some amazing things. Wow.
