What I like about John frusciante is his loose playing style, he goes by feeling not rules
This feeling is also conveyed in this solo despite not being written by him, amazing stuff
if you've never checked out the mars volta, Omar's band, it's great. "chaos" is a great way to describe them. I think omar amd john get along so well because they both seem to rely on feeling and intuition a lot. I really like "roulette dares" and "take the veil ceroin taxt" and "L'via" featrues a john F solo as well.

I already knew exactly what I was about to hear before playing once I read the title. I’m proud to say this was I believe the first RHCP song I figured out all by ear without using tabs or live videos for reference. Awesome track. Awesome solo. Awesome Omar. Awesome Frusch. Awesome Nikola. 🐐s all ‘round these parts
Another interesting fact about this song! At the beggining, when Anthony starts singing, John changes pickups from bridge to neck, because it was “wrong”. Imo it gives the song more personality

Love it! But there's a bunch of Josh Klinghoffer solos in Frusciante's solo works. Like in the Inside of Emptiness record there are at least 2 of them

That's not true, Frusciante only plays solos in some songs like Cicatriz, L'Via, but almost every guitar in Amputechture

Awesome solo
I love this song and have played it to death on my guitar lol. It’s so fun replicating the melodies though and it’s not a difficult track for beginners to understand.
Finally I'm not trying to learn guitar backwards well done I wish everyone would film this way!

@@nikolagugoski Wow, I only noticed Flea and Melody on the photos. Cool that Omar was there too. Seems like it was a really intimate ceremony with only close friends being there, so Omar must indeed be a close friend. 😀

Did John wrote the readymade solo? I always thought it was Omar and that's why John played the solo exactly like on the album when the peppers did this song live.
