Jake almost got away from Amir for the rest of his life, instead he's offering him a ride being in the same space for eight days. Either Jake actually cares about Amir, or he is residing in a perpetual hell of his own creation.
Anybody else picking up on Amir's thinly veiled references to his impending suicide? (e.g. it's "more than it" and he's "moves to the angels" and Jake ruined his "last day on earth")
By moving to "the angels," Amir was just trying to be clever with the name of Los Angeles ("the angels" is the literal translation of Los Angeles from spanish) And he said "last day on earth *here*" as in, last day in NY
***** Maybe they writers changed their mind? Furthermore, the implication of the subtext doesn't have to be carried out anyway for it to be a valid analysis of the show.
Plz make this roadtrip a movie , it would be called , "Jake and Amir's not so great adventure" , i would pay you to make a kickstarter for this ... WHO'S WITH ME !!!
That title is so plain and boring tho, not to mention it has been used before. Maybe something like "Jake & Amir: Beware L.A" Trailor: If you thought Jake & Amir were cooky enough with there shenanigans in the office, wait til see what happens when they're on the road together........for 8 days straight! In this epic and goofy comedy, follow 2 hardly working office boys as they make there way to L.A. So, what happens when an RV breaks down and you ask a stranger for directions? Or plan to go crash at a hotel for the night but end up at a strip club? Or what about when someone sticks up a gas station pump station? Well, with Jakes insecurity and Amirs knowledge, what can REALLY go wrong?
If you listen to their podcast "If I Were You" (which is amazing!!), they talk about how they are both moving to LA.. they are probably quite settled in by now :)
Ya'll crazy, obviously teen idol Zac Effron knows whats up, they have a TV series on TBS produced by Ed Helms, so they obviously both have to get to LA, im sure the end of this will play into the beginning of that
thesmwassup They are working on a Jake and Amir adaption for TV to air on the TBS network, Ed Helms is producing, I assumed thats why they moved? Though if the TV show gets picked up I doubt the webseries will continue but hey a bigger Jake and Amir production sounds amazing to me! :)
I just watched the "Ace" episode earlier this morning before seeing this one for the first time, so I immediately got the reference. Great video, especially for a new-ish one.
Holy shit, this is like the sweetest, most bestest, damned thing I think Jake has done for Amir and I feel all fuzzy inside. Wow. Just wow. This is too good. I NEED TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. Totally makes up for all the 'awws' I gave when they conspired against Amir. Haha
Noooooo! It's coming to an end!! Although, HBO are making a Jake and Amir TV series with Jake and Amir staring AND writing....with Ed Helms producing. It's gunna be #dope
When i first watched this as a teenager i thought it funny that Amir worked somewhere for 8yrs and had no items to take with him. Cut to 10yrs later and i've worked at a company for 8yrs and I too have absolutely 0 items that i would be taking with me in the event i left.
on CH's facebook page there's a photo of amir and ben shwartz sitting at a lakers game so they definitely are going there, actually this episode is probably quite old
"You spelled this more than wrong" is such a good line after he has just established that everything doesn't have to be "more than"
Then the video literally ends with "More than nicked you"
Travelling across the country with jake and amir? would probably be the best movie ever created.
Exactly. I can't wait.
They already did Road Trip (2000)
Jake almost got away from Amir for the rest of his life, instead he's offering him a ride being in the same space for eight days.
Either Jake actually cares about Amir, or he is residing in a perpetual hell of his own creation.
Jake craves Amir obsessing over him.
@Not A Person agreed.
Without Amir, Jake (the character) is just another insecure, aging nobody in an office.
Its the second one
I'm so glad that the last line on the final episode of Jake and Amir was, "We deserve so much more than this."
Wow thanks for spoiling it
I lost it at "i deserve so much more" I'm so done with amir xD
+what.a.phantasy they also make a reference to it at the end of the last episode of jake and amir ever at 7:24
Kellan Mccarthy yeah i cri every time ya know
D: so sad
Kellan Mccarthy I know right but like I *holds back single tear* don't even care
I'll miss it so much
Ozenenz. Hahaha, I couldn't help but laugh at that.
What was actually meant? sorry ^^
Idongeteet.
Odds and ends.
For real? wow.. :D
***** He spelled "odds and ends" as one word "ozenenz".
"Naaahh, 6 minutes bumpyy"
still funny
Lmao jake needs to pull it together! He can't stop smiling/laughing haha

+Potatomato You don't seem to understand double meanings or subtexts.
***** Maybe they writers changed their mind? Furthermore, the implication of the subtext doesn't have to be carried out anyway for it to be a valid analysis of the show.
omg u're right he does want to kill himself!!!
Well he also said he would kill himself if Jake was chosen to move to NY.
Plz make this roadtrip a movie , it would be called , "Jake and Amir's not so great adventure" , i would pay you to make a kickstarter for this ... WHO'S WITH ME !!!

ThatRapperGuy Paris That sounds much worse than a not so great adventure...to be honest.
ThatRapperGuy Paris More like 8 days GAY.
ThatRapperGuy Paris That sounds legit
Jake and Amir's More Than an Adventure Actually
I love when Abeesh says "watch it" whenever something starts to hurt his feelings 😂😂
Their relationship confuses me.
Their relationship confuses everyone.
It’s weird but strong, like Danny Trejo.
@@hessdasmoka It's more than strong
miraj0072004 it’s just strong
It scares me
I feel like all of Amir's catchphrases are used in this video except for "dinner tonight?"
He didn't beef.
And his dad didn't move.
james hammond Why you gotta put UnknownFork on a Friday Blast? that really is not a day to put someone on blast
james hammond twas a road trip though
what distinct sound do grapes and raisins make
Ryan Collins *skrkrkkkschkchkchkkrst*
That last shot of their desks.
Aaaah man. Even now.
Even now…
I'm so proud of myself that I got the "it's been ace working with you" reference.
Where’s the reference from 😅
@@dza1367 ua-cam.com/video/CefsWvV8rjI/v-deo.html
@@SuspiciousClams thank you my good sir
@@dza1367 technically the episode "Ace" but I feel like it's a reference to the Ace and Jocelyn episodes.
So wait, is CollegeHumor _actually_ wrapping up Jake and Amir?
Is their trip in the minivan taking him to LA going to be the end of the series?
I wouldn't be surprised if Amir annoyed the new place enough to get sent back, or if in this ride he'd get banned from LA, or sth like that =P
ZacEffron They actually moved to LA a little while ago, so I am pretty sure they are either ending it or might continue it there.
If you listen to their podcast "If I Were You" (which is amazing!!), they talk about how they are both moving to LA.. they are probably quite settled in by now :)

I DESERVE SO MUCH MORE THAN THIS!
Haha, you guys brought the blast bit from the podcast over to the show.
"Wow. I deserve so much more than that" lol love this
Stupid question... Is Amir actually leaving the office?
Both Jake and Amir are moving to LA, they said so on their podcast.
Joel A lot of the original people are leaving. Sarah and David left a few years ago. These guys are moving the LA. Jeff Ruben has also left.
Harancoh Jake and Amir is becoming a TV show on TBS with ed helms as producer. that's probably what it's about more so.
Xavier Taylor
6 MOVIES AND A SEASON!!!
Wait...
FreshprinceObelair Sarah isn't with collegehumor anymore (She works for SNL) and Jeff is working with Buzzfeed i think.
Do I see a jake and Amir movie coming?
there already was, its called fired
wtf
No but they are getting their own sitcom to be aired on tbs.
Well this didn't fucking happen.
Clypsoh no
"It sounds like grapes and raisins mostly" jake has some ace hearing
Oh man!! They can't stop this, one of the best skits college humour make!!
I love that they filmed this with the old camera 🎥
i know its part of the "story" But omg how does jake still be nice to amir and help him hhahaha
The last 450 episodes kinda showed why...
I'm amazed he can hear what grapes and raisins sound like
Holy shit, this is like the sweetest, most bestest, damned thing I think Jake has done for Amir and I feel all fuzzy inside. Wow. Just wow. This is too good. I NEED TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. Totally makes up for all the 'awws' I gave when they conspired against Amir. Haha
Laughed so hard at that. I cannot live without Jake and Amir. What else will I watch on College Humor?
Uh, things, how do I put it, uh got real.
so this is the end of the only reason im subscribed, its been a good run
Noooooo! It's coming to an end!! Although, HBO are making a Jake and Amir TV series with Jake and Amir staring AND writing....with Ed Helms producing. It's gunna be #dope
Aahh okay
***** as a non-American, I've never hear of TBS before. Are they generally a good station? What other shows might I have seen from them?
As an American, don't take advice from someone that says #dope
I never realised how much John and John Carlo add to this series
National Lampoon's Jake & Amir...'s Road Trip
1:12 the scroll on the table 🤣
so happy they are referencing their podcast, so good
I'm still here :D
Wow. It's actually fucking happening. No.
0:46 I don't know why, but I love the way Jake delivers that line, it's so funny!
I like how they incorporate jokes from their podcast like putting each other 'on blast'.
When i first watched this as a teenager i thought it funny that Amir worked somewhere for 8yrs and had no items to take with him. Cut to 10yrs later and i've worked at a company for 8yrs and I too have absolutely 0 items that i would be taking with me in the event i left.
1:33 "Every next weekend is Jake's last hurrah."
At least they're not going to work for Buzzfeed...
I love it ! :D
I wish you make a jake and amir movie !
All I want out of my life is to have a moment when I can genuinely say to someone:
"...You piece of shit!"
Done. Now what?
Firstname Lastname It's been a whole year since this comment, did you tell her yet?
How the fuck did you find this comment again? And yes, I told her a year ago. Hence "Done."
Firstname Lastname I got a notification for it. And cool, happy I could help your dream come true.
CollegeHumor this is so sad! i love this series! im from new york but im in LA for vacation i wanna see jake and amir
JAKE AND AMIR HAVE ACTUALLY MOVED TO LA. THEY ARE GETTING A SHOW IN TBS AND IS A ELONGATED VERSION THE IF THE WEB SERIES
Liked the references to past episodes there. I was half expecting the sound of spare change falling out of Amir's pants at the end X]
Goodbye?
NO.
THIS. IS. SPARTA!
That's just how good it is.
its so much more entertaining to watch these after listening to their podcast
So excited for their TV series! I can not wait!!!
HAHA putting him on blast... if i were you reference,,, i love it....
You guys should make very long videos, like 20mins.
they have a podcast (about 45 minutes long each) its really funny.. called If I Were You
So a TV show, basically?
nickability nah, a podcast:) lol
i have no clue what the difference is
You mean like "Jake and Amir: Fired"?
GIULIxJIPPI yeah, you're probably right. i think it's probably better as a skit than a show or movie.
Can't wait for the continuation. HURRY ! J & A are the best !
I love jake and amir!
is this it for jake and amir?
Just realized how 3:00 must be a nod to the 'Girlfriend' series
I miss streeter & the prank wars
This one is over in 3 minutes bumpy
is this like ACTUALLY the end of Jake and Amir or just some road trip episode setup?
Everyone listen to their podcast "If I Were You" if you're curious on if this is really over... Also... its freaking hilarious and #DOPE
I need Amir's sweater
Darude sandstorm
also when did they film this? are they immune to the cold? lol
They probably filmed in October or November
Jake and amir is pretty freakin fuckin awesome as hell
Jake and Amir are gonna be a show on TBS... So end of the internet series, but the beginning of the TV series.
I would think that this means the show's gonna end... But they've proven me wrong so many times now that I just don't think this can ever end.
"oh sheesh yall, twas a road trip!" lol
"Im not going Dutch you with on that" lmao
1:17 Amir's soulless robot eyes moving just creep me out
Wow they're actually going through with this..... :3
"I deserve more than that..." was do appropriate.
0:48 "you worked here for 8 fucking years!" I too, am shocked at this Jake
GUYS A BIG ROADTRIP IS AHEAD FOR THEM!!!
Yes, that is, in fact, what the video said.
to be fair, amir did get jake the deluxe package for his birthday
i came back here because of 6 minutes bumpy and i dont regret it
i'd be stoked to go to LA
Don't go guys I love your stuff :'(
the next few episodes are gonna be good
Ace and Jocelyn
still fresh!
I just noticed the ending being a callback to Amir saying "It's more than ___" lol
"More than nicked you!" Haha brilliant.
is this srsly the last episode if so i will be devastated
Wow... I desered so much more...
their road trip should be a one hour special
Bruh tha fact tht jake is roastin him on his last day is right in the world lol
lol love that reference to the podcast
they're in LA now according to what ive been hearing from their podcast. and i think they have been since 2013
Who else is excited to see how this unravels? (winter break problems)
Ohhhh it’s ODDS AND ENDS!
A youtube search for "ozenenz" brings you here haha!
Oh sheesh ya'll.. TWAS A DREAM! (I know it's not this video but I died laughing at that part)
I wish I had friends with this kind of sarcasm.. usually mine just take my sarcasm too seriously and get offended lol
Don't panic, they're getting a tv show! Watch Jake and Amir on TBS and let them be famous!
jake really does love amir
That rv is from their tour several weeks ago
oh sheesh yall.... PLEASE DONT STOP MAKING VIDS
DON'T GO AMIR. I'll miss your not twice but thrice phrase.
on CH's facebook page there's a photo of amir and ben shwartz sitting at a lakers game so they definitely are going there, actually this episode is probably quite old
