Quick update - i bought two of those from the same seller, both had the clicky joints. I disasseambled one of those joints just to compare it and it was 100% accurate copy of original revo joint mechanic. The best KO out of those revo marvel ones. All joints are tight, all have the rachet mechanic on my two copies of this figure, all extra stuff included [so all small joints in those tendrills also have the revo joints] Spider-Man was for sure the worst, due to the fact i had to switch all of his joints to make him a functional custom, thou atm when i have my spider all rigged with revo joints [and finally with all colors on the joints matching the original look of that fig] he is technically the same as original one [you only cant switch his ankle joints due to the fact its not the standard dual peg revo, but one side peg and one side ball joint, but luckily those ankle joints on bootlegs are very well done, same goes for venom - his ankle joints are also well made, sturdy and tight] P.S. Love your bootleg reviews, as a custom figure creator i always know what i can buy and what to avoid when it somes to custom figure creation from KO's =) Keep it up bro!

I've had a few legit revoltechs that have had more trouble than the bootlegs so I'm not sure there is much of a difference at all... definitely not 50-60 dollars worth anyway. It's safe to say that I'm buying ShF, Figma, Mafex bootlegs this Christmas. Bootlegs are the most prominent toys in my country, they're cheap and they look like the original.

Edit: got my own Carnage KO and man what a hunk of junk. It is so flimsy and the mouth doesn't stay on at all. It is a "pose once, glue it, and forget" type of figure
i think the Yamaguchi bootlegs are made in the same factory as the originals, the factory just does their daily quota and then keep making them for the rest of the day instead of losing time changing the molds
I have one myself and it's got problems. It's covered in black as if it's a weathered version when it's not supposed to be and the joints are quite fragile. The right forearm on mine comes really easily now because once it came off once the thing that was supposed to hold it in is kinda half broken. It doesn't come off THAT easily to be fair but the bigger problem really is that I can't get it back on all the way so that arms slightly longer at the elbow and you can see more of the peg. All that said I think I got it for £9 and I'm still happy enough with it, it still looks good on display and from afar you can't see the black or the elbow and close up the black just looks like amateurish weathering

bottom right that has a carnage image with the amazing yamaguchi word.. its supposed to be marvel.com but its a clone so thats why it has that instead of marvel.com so thats what i notice on the item
Any other tips for identifying bootleg Revoltech? Is there that much tape holding the trays together with a genuine fig? Do they include something hard to clone perfectly, like Figma’s stands?
It's all hit or miss because all the sellers have the same product they bought from a wholesaler.. The sellers don't make these.. And also, many sellers have multiple accounts.. Just make sure the seller has enough reputation for customer support
Can you do the bootleg DEVASTATOR? The versions I'm interested in most is the reissue version and the "Hercules" version, there's a couple versions and even colorways but those would be AWESOME!!
These bootlegs are quite accurate to the recall ones most bootlegs come from sh figurats marvel legends to name some. The only thing that make me want them is their less price while marvel legends and sh figs r pretty expensive becuz I only see them online and they are hell expensive so this the only choice left. Personal review: 10/10 knockoff All my tendril holes were easy to interchange Right leg joint was loose but has never fallen off the way his did. Right arm also popped off out of the box.
He doesn't have the original, but if I were to guess, it would be the joints are slightly looser but not too loose, and some of the paint and plastic being higher quality

Nice! I got mine last week and had similar results, maybe a bit less trouble. I love it. I've had a few legit revoltechs that have had more trouble than the bootlegs so I'm not sure there is much of a difference at all... definitely not 50-60 dollars worth anyway.

I see legit ones for 70$-80$ but if you can snag a bootleg for around 15$ or 20$ then thats one good deal

You could try applying some clear nail polish on the ball joint if it has one, it kind of just makes the joint a bit thicker so it isnt as loose
