She'd probably need Spanish then and not many Brazilians are fluent in Spanish. More are fluent in English than Spanish. I'm surprised he keeps finding women that don't speak English, especially since this one is educated. I spent a couple of weeks working in Brazil in 2022 and many regular people speak English there. I still regularly talk to the driver we used and his English is great. My coworkers there all spoke English. I think for most, that's the most common second language that's learned in schools.
