Wish this was more into depth. At least would want to know if EMT even is equipped for this or if we need to drive the person to a hospital our selves to save time. I read online that doctors use breathing tubes and special tools. I can't find much information of what the process would look like. I'm trying to come up with a game plan in case I ever need to handle this situation for my children. Off to google once more.

If someone is unconscious and breathing normally we do not give CPR at all right? If they are conscious and agonal breathing do we do anything? If they are unconscious and agonal breathing do we do anything? If so for any of those what do we do, full CPR? Rescue breaths?

Okay I believe the first two answers are to do nothing (as far as treatment till help arrives) The third I believe is to begin full CPR. Call 911 for first scenario, call 911 for second and monitor circulation and respiration. But if these aren't right please correct me only if you know indefinitely what should be done.

@Randomly DIY If somebody is pulseless they won't be agonal breathing. I believe if they are not breathing normally and are unconscious you would begin cpr but I'm not positive

@Randomly DIY What I'm saying is you can have a pulse but not able to breathe, but you can't breathe at all if your heart isn't beating. What I mainly need to know is if you would do full CPR when somebody has a pulse but is not breathing and to my surprise I actually believe the answer might be yes. Years ago you would just do rescue breaths in that case but I think new science suggests otherwise. It seems counterintuitive which is why I want more clarification on that specific scenario
