Awesome drive from Bay Ridge to to Greenpoint, within the Borough of King's County (better known as Brooklyn) I've traveled only once on the BQE, out of the kind generosity of friends and co-workers (due to very severe wintry weather at that time) after a very busy workday at the "BAT" (Brooklyn Army Terminal) Thank you ActionKid for sharing/posting this Awesome driving NYC video.
Yeah, being that NYC is very old, there are a lot of twists, turns, obstacles, barriers and blind spots (like that underpass just before the driver did the 3 lane scoot exit). If one is not 100% familiar with the NYC highways, said person has to pay 100% attention to the exit signs!!!
Wow - very difficult to imagine the BQE like this. Kinda reminds me of some country roads I've seen in rural Minnesota. All that's missing is the cows and horses. :)
👍My favorites are in Manhattan but it's interesting to see more of the landscape and area around NYC to get a better feel for what its really like. Thanks. -Henry
Sure, Manhattan has the popular touristy areas. However, you are more likely to find a native New Yorker (as in NYC) resident in Brooklyn as Manhattan is mostly North American transplants (save for very northern portion of Manhattan Island. Queens has a lot of natives (such as AK), however, Queens has a lot of International transplants. The Bronx has a lot of native NYers. Staten Island does as well. However, the folks that live there, for the most part of those who wishes to live in a more suburban area without moving to Long Island, Westchester County or areas of NJ near NYC. With that said, there are transplants living in all the boroughs. Some just have much more than others.

Your videos are keeping me occupied during this crazy time. Thank you.
