- I was sick of blowing up bumpers so I decided to go with Shine Auto Project's hybrid FRP kit that's noticably more flexible than most products out there. For the first time fitting a kit it was very straightforward and the results are great! www.shineautoproject.com/

It's been really cool to watch yours and Alberto's friendship evolve. From him starting out as just your go to mechanic to bring someone who willingly stops by your house after work to have dinner and hang out. It's just been really cool to watch cause both of you are genuinely good guys.

3M's doubbel sided tape is really good for small plastic stuff.. very strong to.. put that in between where you need to stick stuff togheter

and so you don't have to drill holes in your door jams.. you might change the kit later and have screw holes to cover
Should have done that behind the doors for the skirt instead of using screws. That will start rusting out.
As i recently moved for work i haven't been able to work on my cars, not driving them either.
I might get a saturday back home in the garage every other week or so.
So seeing you work on the 240 and seeing the progress kinda satisfy my need for wrenching😁

Patrick Naughton too expensive of an investment. You need a new transmission too. Also, the SR is finicky as it is now so he might either sell it or get rid of it. Also, an SR in a Mazda is a bit awkward. But, dont quote and also i am not speaking for adam. This is just my opinion.

nicoles sr is already a built sr why swap one built sr for another? ya know
because nicoles sr has something wrong with it so they could rebuild nicoles fix and sellit
its a simple cam replacement just time consuming not that hard

I did learn a thing from you in this video! I learned why you use zip ties instead of screws for your bumper. Good bit of knowledge for when I start drifting my car.

keep the old kit as a spare, you can grind down the fiber glass and lay new glass for video content its easy I did it for work last summer
not to be technical but they are self taping screws you didn't have to pre drill a hole
Its just easier and cleaner

Self taping screws can walk when drilling (tip of screw moves around and doesn't stay in place). Pilot holes make for clean work.

Actually it is a purpose built race car designed to compete in drift events (yes Adam is still practicing to drift, but does not mean the car is not track ready)...

FACT: Drifting is a form of automotive racing, again check your facts before you get online and run your proverbial mouth...
YES: Adam does not compete professionally, however that has no impact on the fact that the car is properly built for track use. The fact that Adam does not race the car has nothing to do with the build of the car... SO when people call it a "race car" they are correct in that description.
By your logic if someone owned a race car, let's say a collector, but never drove it on the track, then the vehicle would no longer be a race car?... Hummm, yeah I don't follow your logic at all.
MasterMech77 racing is based on time and position in a race while drifting is based on points (speed and angle)
A race car is built to stay steady on a track and not lose traction
A drift build is the total opposite, lose traction at a high speed and get the most angle as you can possibly get without spinning out
Both have different criteria to assessment of excellence where in one it is speed, while in the other it is spectacle
