No stupid intro, no annoying sponsors, no crap music Straight to the action. this is how you make a channel.
It’ll never change 👊🏼

That mini hit a dolphin and it’s fighting the car for its life.😂
It probably could have been saved at that point If she hadn't repeatedly tried to start it 🤦♂️
@@jimmyk2001Agreed, she was determined to turn her engine into a water pump.
@@pking6021 I know I was just thinking she's determined to kill her car 😈
@@jimmyk2001 The fact that it got a case of the squeaks as soon as it made it to the other side means it was toast right off the bat. That means it’s got a bunch of S-shaped rods in it at that point. Variable compression the hard way.
Rodney hit hard on that mini!
The Tesco Van driver..what a complete Clown..😂😂😂😂😂😂
He'll have to phone all the customers and tell them their orders are currently in float! I wonder whether Tesco charge him for the recovery?
Wheel nut policy 😂😂
Quality food sailed right to your door.
Mate I think it was a bit higher than the first wheel nut, especially the tsunami of the bow wave over the front. 😂
@cjb405 Yeah..but what a complete tool 🤣🤣
Cool - I love these WATER vs. BRAIN CELLS videos 🤷♂️🤪👍
How comforting your not the only nob head on the block
Ah, the sweet sounds of a suddenly knackered engine.
The stupidity of some people is beyond words.
Sadly the number of dummies is growing rapidly.. 😢
This is Buttsbury Wash, near Ingatestone, Essex. It's a minor road and it's easy enough to go a different way when the river's high, which is why no-one's built a bridge. When the river's low the water all goes through pipes under the road. I used to drive through it weekly when the water wasn't high, but driving through the water kept making my brake calipers seize up a few days later.
Most locals knew not to go that way when it had rained a lot. Once, after heavy rain, I saw a car driving along the road leading to the ford at a normal speed, 30-40ish, I guess, and thought "He's going to have to turn round and come back." I waited for him to slow and stop when he saw the water level, but he just cruised on, and suddenly there was a big plume of water as he charged into the ford. He didn't make it, and got water in the car. He said "Well, it wasn't like this last time we came along here!"
"if it's lower than the wheel nut you can go through it" Yeah at crawling pace.. not 15mph 😂😂😂
What about "If there is doubt - there is no doubt"?
I don't know how the companies treat caution in these cases.
@@twentyrothmans7308 I think they use the similar but different motto “If in doubt, flat out”
@@davidedwards4125 🙂
It was higher than the wheel, let alone the lowest wheel nut.
It was in the doors for the food area no doubt.
I think they meant the bottom wheel nut not the top one
0:05 I can just imagine the listing when it's time for a replacement: "for sale, one careful lady owner"!
As a foreign watcher I don't understand the reasons why these drivers deliberately decide to throw away a lot of their time and money.
Essentially, drivers often aren’t paying full attention to the road conditions/haven’t seen the warning signs/don’t know the area/often in a rush/Distracted etc… so they don’t understand what they’re putting themselves into. All it takes is a bit of common sense and observing what’s in front of you to make the right decision.
Idiots basically!!
This is how bad the British culture has become it's a form of suicidal sport with drivers of German cars especially susceptible
Because they have it to throw away. And/or they hate their car and are hoping for insurance payout.
Because they are very foolish.
I hear Tesco deliver water chestnuts, watercress, water melons, water biscuits and bottled water. What I didn’t know, is how Tesco introduced the water into these food stuffs.
when you drive car but have no clue how it works
Imagine if people used the same amount of logic when using a toilet....
@@tompettersson3814 As far as I can tell most of them do.
В России мы думаем, что европейцы на столько богатые, что могут позволить себе новую машину после очередного дождя😮😮😮, но нет, дело в простой человеческой глупости
Yeah... Despite the car being a marvel of Science and Mechanical Engineering... I guess some people still believe that magic, and the power of our minds is what actually makes them work! 😂😅😊
So maybe they're using will magic, to drive a car through a significant amount of standing water, believing that their will alone will get them through!
Well... We still live in a world in which some people believe in Bronze Aged Mythologies (aka religion!) and that planet Earth is flat!
So yeah... Figures really! 🤷♂️
What twaddle was Tesco man saying ?
Was it code for “I’m going to lose my job” ? 😂😂
😂, that was actually the manager that came down the day after, he wasn’t allowed to comment much on the situation but you can imagine how it’s going down in the workplace…😂
@@bengregersA conversation with no tea and biscuits 😂
@@bengregers No wonder most of their shopping trolleys have a wonky wheel 😂
@@bxmachine
Biscuits were all soaked anyway 🤷
And I'm guessing health and safety codes required the whole load of food be thrown away. Smh
Even the cars that got through will develop faults later down the line including the electric ones, so many sensors these days.
Plus all the washed out hub bearings.
Very expensive mini repairs 😂😂😂
Nah mini engine = mini repair = cost
Nice to see some smarter drivers who slowly sneak into the water, to avoid making waves that splash into the air intake
I thought the brain was what makes us different from other animals!
You would think when there’s random people standing around with cellphones recording that people wouldn’t blithely plow on thru. Guess they can’t take a hint.
Er, this is Essex. Reputation precedes them.
Drowned mini (maxi) at beginning 😂 😂 🤣
even drives through with the window open - and a tsunami coming over the front towards him!
Flooded cars are haunted forever by random, unexpected, peculiar faults.
5:50 the swedish driver , no problem for him.
The main fault with all those flooded vehicles is the moron behind the wheel.
" I wonder what happens when I compress water in the cylinders "???🤔
Kliková hřídel praskne nebo se ohne. Může prasknout i hlava valců nebo se ohnou ojnice. Voda je nestlačitelná. Učí se to na základní škole ve fyzice. Nejslabší článek v motoru to prostě odnese. Každopádně to končí generální opravou motoru, což je někdy dražší, než celé auto.
@@MrBreorn
I think they were being sarcastic. 😂
I'm the words of Clarkson "what was that glang noise" 😂
I think your videos should be part of the UK Driving Test curriculum.
Most of BMW are caught because of low positioned air intake.
Yes definitely, he was a bit unlucky to be fair in the video
They're not particularly low (at least not on the 3 series) but they are right at the front behind the grille. If you follow the instructions in the handbook that nobody reads a 3 series can ford 25cm deep water at 5 km/h MAX. If you're a typical BMW driver you don't read the handbook, charge in developing a huge bow wave that completely fills the air intake and SPLAT! Note the 3 series that _did_ make it by going slowly (6:46) keeping the water below the grille, and that was definitely more than the 25 cm they specify as OK.
BMWs are water sucking machines.
Ultimate Diving Machine
The air intake is low on the front bumper.
Used to do delivery work for Tescos. Even if i was late i wouldnt risk going through that. In training they told us someone did the same and the repair bill was 11k
Did the company reclaim it from the driver?
@alanpontet1671 I'm not too sure I can't remember.
Thought the mini was gonna right itself off on that wall for a minute 😅
And these are the the types of people who would laugh at lorry drivers for getting stuck or hitting bridges.
Never gets old seeing BMW fools trash their vehicles
It was just going to break at 40k miles anyway
@@ahuras238 lol 👏👍
The boss is stoked about the box truck.
And this years noble prize for physics goes to the tesco driver ,,for the successful compression of a water 💦 droplet in a combustion chamber for 1000 th of a second 😅
I didnt know tesco is delivering in submarines :D
The red BMW gave up STRAIGHT away...and I seriously do not understand the mini driver going through that much water with window down...
Если даже там построят мост через эту реку то его через неделю взорвут автомеханики что рядом обитают !))))))
Nice to see that Disco 3 sorting things out.
That poor mini going through it's death rolls
Man buns make you invincible.
Still have zero clue what possesses anyone to drive through water that deep and risk ruining their car. Why??
6:18 he lost his front number plate.. hahaha ha..
Mini Cooper’s, they barely run when you don’t drive them through a river. And people have no clue what makes Cars go, that’s why they keep trying to restart it. Now they can go to the dealership and talk to Ben Dover
Endlessly fascinating. Many have commented in a similar way but how is it so many have owners/drivers have so little understanding of the internal combustion engine? 🤔🤔
It’s funny how some of the correctly driven cars make it so easy. Not the landrovers that are made for it, but the small ones where it doesn’t go over the bonnet and they ride the bow wave perfectly. Still a high risk game mind you.
Moving serenely through the water with a nice little bow wave ahead makes you look infinitely cooler than plunging straight in.
The engine might make it through OK, but all the grease has been rinsed out of the wheel hubs. Couple of weeks, then bye bye bearings.
Hi Ben...good one! It's very dry over here in North Carolina so far this summer...Cheers!
No worries! Thanks for watching
You can't fix stupid, but you can fix what stupid breaks 😂
But it will cost you a good penny!
Yeah. It just requires lots of money.
Defender lady, good job!
It's funny how some people pop the hood to see what's wrong with there vehicles but have no idea what there looking at.😅
proberly the first time they,ve ever looked under there!!!.
VW Crafter, very good driver, he knows how an combustion engine works.
Ben you will never run out of material.
That poor first car!
So red bmw driver is guiding the winch cable (under approx 1.2 tons of tension) with his hand. Imagine if the cable snapped at the winch...... amputated finger anyone?
The car isn't hanging from the cable, it's a rolling load.
Still enough tension to break something.
Love these videos
That Mini went through with his window open!
BMW and Sprinter vans never disappoint.
Electronics and water never mix well another day of fun 😊
Great to see your new content returning after the spell of dry weather! Look forward to seeing what you get up to next 😊
Now it becomes clear why the British make cars that can ford 90 cm
Wait until the water that's been driven up into a car and the mats and the floors start to mold
When I worked for Ocado, they had a Sprinter wheel in the tea room with a big arrow pointing to the lowest wheel nut 😂
You have got to keep that bow wave low. Cant believe the number of drivers that think you just charge through.
Дискавери 3 - хороший 👍 😊. У меня был такой). 2.7 дизель)
На пневмо подвеске). Отличная проходимость + отличный комфорт.
People should learn where there air intake is mounted, because remember if it sucks air it will suck water , then you will probably need a new engine. 😂
We all live in a yellow submarine
One of them there Tesco boat deliveries! 😂
The Tesco Screwdriver didn't want the job anyway, 😂🤣Duh.
Excellent et recommandé pour les chocs thermiques moteurs transmissions, les reniflards qui peuvent être une ou des portes ouvertes à l’eau, bref un coup de Karcher hop!!! sur le marché de l’occasion.
Bravo!!!
Remember when common sense was common
Ano, nemusím všemu rozumnět, ani nerozumím, ale tyto vodní hrátky s drahou jemnou technikou automobilu, kde se intenzivně nasává vodá do sání motoru, neskutečné ignorantství, nebudu používat výstižnější slova k hodnocení...
Exactly 👍 bunch of nitwits 😂
How did the Grey BMW saloon get through ….they hate water 😁😁
It’s not magic, water never went in the air intakes.
1:16 are they delivering seafood?
Why 😂 just why 😂
Land Rovers ..yeaaaah 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Is that the Man Bun?
They even had a water depth guide on the side of the road and they still drove through - Clueless.
Numpties of the highest order.
Wow. It seems like they all have something in common.
I have driven a few times over this place and many times I had to literally turn back as the water was too high! 👍 I wasn not going to gamble like some of the numpties in this video 😂😂😂 some of the drivers on here, simply unbelievable! Why risk it? 😳 😳 If you can't see the bottom dont drive through it because it could be a costly mistake 🤯🤯 use common please, thank you 😜😜
Tesco. Now delivers by barge.
That Mercedes’ drivers attitude right at the end to clearly a bad situation is brilliant
“If it’s higher than the first wheel nut..don’t go through it” 👀
That was Tesco’s company policy apparently…
@@bengregers yet, how is the driver going to know - unless he drives the van into the water to find out - and it gets deeper as you go further!
I can probably guarantee that the work policy is not that if it's lower than the wheel nut then go for it. It's probably if it's lower than the wheel nut, proceed with caution
I work for Tesco we don't go in at that depth
They're all 6's and 7's going down that turn.
Hope they all had good door seals, my Skoda takes water into the footwell going through puddles lol
lol, I’ve seen plenty of cars with water up to the seats inside after going through 3ft+ of water
People do not realize that the car does not run on water/fuel mix😂😂😂.. it runs on air/fuel ladies😅. So unless you have your intake inlet above the water level, DO NOT GO IN
Mini is famous for very unreliable engines, trying to compress water with it isn’t that intelligent.
It’s not intelligent to compress water with even the most reliable of engines.
How did that VW van at 5 mins in stop? The air intake is at the top, water shouldn't have reached that the way they were driving... unless there is a leak in the air intake pipework? Or was it just electrical.
Just a bit higher than the 1st wheel nut then 😅
Well that mini is FUBAR.
Tesco man saying policy is first wheel nut don't go through, you're fired 😂
The insurance companies won`t pay out if it is a deliberate action to ignore road signs for road closures/flooding
People thought that they had a boat on wheels😂
Thanks to all the brainless drivers for increasing everyone’s car insurance premiums.
You brought a car not a boat…! 🤔
Das sind die Engländer live und in Farbe 😂😂😂
Das kann ich bestätigen, ich wohne hier jetzt 20 Jahre. Wo ich wohne fluten es öfter mal. Ich gehe lieber den langen Weg rum 😂
The guy doing the recoveries (I hope he's making a fortune out of their stupidity), actually finds the towing eye from the back of the red beemer - I bet the beemer driver didn't even know there was one.
Oops! Combustion engines dont like water in the wrong places!
Keeping engine mechanics busy
Muito bom os vídeos...Araraquara.são Paulo Brasil
Why’s my bread so soggy 😂😂😂
*Roads gets flooded
Everywhere else: takes preventive majors and redesign the road so it’ll never flood again.
Brits: _gather with your mates for the show_
This is why land rovers with snorkel exhausts can cross rivers even when the engine gets submerged and that's why the army use them 😊
Good way to hydraulic an engine and bend some rods. Water doesn’t compress.
Bravi così l'acqua viene aspirata e va direttamente nel motore e lo buttate 👏👏
Simple physics ie water is incompressible unlike air and fuel here endeth the lesson 😅
