I can't think of a more harsh diss from a lore curator that calling a piece "possibly canon"
Really seemed like he switched personalities a bit from kaladesh to ravnica. On kaladesh he seemed extremely lawful still, but cared greatly for all people and not truly tyranical. On Ravnica he is basically Zuckerberg

Yes! Omg, I know he rubs a lot of people the wrong way but he's one of my top 10 favorite planeswalkers. He's clearly lawful good, but thought, 'Hmm, this egomaniacal big bad seems like a good boss to work for.'
They did him dirty, and his death was unceremonial.
Like, I had hopes that he'd become mission control for the Gatewatch like Martian Manhunter from Justice League, after he 'cures' his blindness and operate off-Ravnica.

The possibility of Dovin Baan being revived on Ravnica isn't out of the possibility. If Vraska reveals that Dovin is still out there or Lazav leaks that he knows where Dovin's corpse is, some schemers might be interested in reviving the guy that can see any weakness.
Finally got around to watching this video. I wasn’t around during Kaladesh, and only got slivers of the lore. My first major intro to Dovin was War of the Spark, but damn…sounds like I don’t know the guy at all. Kaladesh’s story paints Dovin as a rather decent guy all things considered. But on Ravnica, he seemed to just be turned into a mustache-twirling villain. And this sudden shift in personality could have even made sense with one clarification. Just one! And that is that Nicol Bolas got into his head and twisted him up inside, using mind magic to bend Dovin’s goals and ideals to suit his own selfish goals.

He does not line up precisely with any inventor in Riot's Arcane series, but he has similarities with a lot of the cast.
I love watching these little lore tidbits, but the one thing i find slightly infuriating, in a mostly joking way, is the way you pronounce the word "mana". You pronounce it 3 different ways. I'm just curious why you pronounce the same word in 3 very different ways. 🤔 But again, I'm saying all of this as a joke. Mostly. On a barely serious note, please just pick one and stick to it. Love ur videos, keep up the good work friend. 😁
I'm sorry, but whenever I'm even _slightly_ unsure of a pronunciation I'll swap around. Surely ONE of them will be correct.
