First badminton video that I have commented on. Usually I just watch, but I have to say that I am very impressed with the way this lady teaches. And somethings I've never heard before. Will definitely be watching more videos and implementing what I see and learn from this coach. I hope it will improve my game at 42 years of age. Thank you
@@CoachKennieAsuncion hi I am. Regularly watching your videos on several tips of playing badminton It is really helping me I am being playin this. Sport for long time but certain things I didn't know till I saw I your videos Thanks for sharing your badminton knowledge with us
Coach....i Was following Your videos from past 4-5 months....Since all videos were found helpful..i started seeing your channel videos from beginning...Every video is clearly explained and useful for each badminton player...This Grip video is very nicely explained...👍
I do not comment at all (Considering I watch soo much of varied things on UA-cam).... So here I go: Frankly, i feel that this video is so important for any newbie, also it is the first video out of, i think almost 5 videos, that i have watched, that really explained "how to grip/hold a racket" with such ease! None of the other videos used the analogy of "shaking another hand"!!! I came to this video, after watching her other 2 videos for Badminton warm up & cool-down exercises! and instantly subscribed to her channel! Please continue this good worK
your explanations (step by step) is easy to understand. I will follow the steps as you said now I play better shot now. satisfied at all completely. Thank you much
some player do hold at the lower of the racket with a ticker grip at end of the handle. usually single player do so to create more power for smash and trick short.
Coach nice explanation, I started watching your videos a lot. Which is really helpful to improve my performance. Can you pls tell me which yonex bat is using?
thank you coach I've been finding videos about the proper grip of your racket and easy to understand and then i found your video. Thank you very much coach:D edit: i just wanted coach that your a big help to kids like us that's dreaming to be a professional badminton player. looking forward to more easy to understand vids coach kudos to you😉
Respected madam, This is srinivas from India, I had a son of 8 years, since 4 months he has taking coaching under coach prem kumar singh.he regularly watch your videos and improve his skills day by day... I need a small information about cost of coaching you charged in your academy...
Look for a good coach who will guide him not just to make him physically stronger but to help him toughen up emotionally. At 8, make him enjoy training not to push it overly because he might get burned out then the coach will slowly adjust his training as he progresses… good luck😁🏸
What are your tips for national ranking tournments because, I am going to participate in it. I had less time for practice, what's your tips for me to win my tournament
At this point everyone feels they are not at their best given our situation but wherever we are, let’s make the most of it. Use our strong points to get points and cover our weak spots so we dont give away points easily😁🏸 Good luck!
Hi coach, I have tried numerous times to use the forehand grip for clears and smashes but I just can't to seem to use the forehand grip, I always use the bevel grip for that. Please tell me how I can correct this or if I don't need to correct it
When I teach a certain way, it is only my preference and so il explain why its important to have the correct forehand grip only so you can switch to the bevel grip or backhand grip with ease. I would prefer you correct it but at the end of the day you will decide if u wanna work on that or keep your grip as it is! 😁🏸
Awesome explanation, thanks for the lesson. Playing badminton from the last 4 yr. I'm in the stage of intermediate to advanced level now. Mam, I'm From India, Not getting original racquet or shoes to play, Please help me how can I get some original stuff? Any reference would be surely a great help.
Thank you for your appreciation of the video... I’ll try to check with Yonex coz’ I know they have original yonex stores in India. And normally you can order online but I guess with the situation of corona virus online orders will be harder.😁🏸
Mam it is very nice posting mam.i want you to clarify my one doubt mam that if I hold racquet as you are saying i start to get pain in my forehand mam.is there any suggestion mam?
If you have been playing using a different grip and change it might cause soreness only because your muscles are not used to it but there should be no pain. My guess is you might be gripping too tight as well so maybe you can fix that😁🏸
Hi coach I have been playing for abt 2 years competitively and I’m playing on a national level u15. And one thing that has been bothering me is that many advanced players hold their racket like what you have shown in the vid which was the correct grip and leaving abit of space above the bottom of the grip, but me and some players have been holding it at the very bottom and I would like to know what’s the difference between the very bottom and leaving a bit of space below and why professionals choose to leave a bit of space.
There is nothing wrong with how you grip your racket when you say you are holding it all the way down. I think me and most players prefer a bit of space only because its easier to maneouver when there are quick changes to the grip like changing to a backhand or bevel grip or for other players when they move forward to attack and would rather hold the grip higher. Also lesser chances of dropping the racket but your grip is not wrong so if that’s more confortable for you its ok to play with it😁🏸
It really depends on what you prefer. I like light rackets but most people who like smashing likes the head of the racket to be heavy bec it helps in making their smashes stronger. I suggest for you to go to a store and hold on to the racket that catches your eye, its how it feels when you hold it or swing it a bit or maybe try a friends racket. 😁🏸
