If you want Nikes for training, then I'd look into these shoes instead of Air Max models. Pretty sure most of their shoes aren't great for running anyway. One thing I was interested to see though would be if something like this or say airmax 90s would be good like weightlifting shoes because I thought they were supposed to have a thicker heel, but maybe the toes are lower on them
Great video. I bought these a little while ago and I can definitely feel myself leaning forward on some lifts. Awesome to be able to look in the shoe too. Keep up the great work.
Brother, this video is awesome and informative! I would love more of these "cut in half" videos. Please tell me this is now a series? Keep up the good work.
I just tried on the Air Max Alpha Trainer 4 at a Nike outlet and was actually pretty impressed.. they aren’t that soft and the sole is pretty flat and wide.
i tried these on and i loved how comfortable they are for just daily wear like any other airmac but yeah i doubt these are good as trainers. i like using vans or my beat up air trainer 1s for the gym
Random thought. Dope video before I ask but what’s the best shoe you reviewed for Olympic lifting and short runs? I have the go rucks and no bulls but curious as to what’s out there.
Terrible for lifting because the cusion.. how about upper body training? And How about jogging? Thanks Maybe they just put the wrong description on the shoes... ?? Copy and paste to the wrong shoes.. haha
I doubt that, lol. Nike is always doing too much with their trainers and their descriptions. Upper they're prob fine if they fit your feet and for running they stink

This Anvil Rose style of cutting in half is pretty cool. Air Max are running shoes style for casual wear.
Read Nikes product page, lol. They make these sound like some incredible trainer 😂

Thank you! My next models include the metcon 9, TYR l1 lifter, and Nano x3!

Nice! Stoked they work for you :)
My feet started to pain just from this video when i saw narrow toebox of nike 😅😊😅
These are brutal. One of the worst shoes I’ve ever reviewed

I really like the Dropset Trainer 2s (if I'm sprinting) and the RAD ONEs for that combination of asks!
@@thatfitfriend I went with the nano x3! Got a narly deal on them. So far so good! I’m either gonna buy the rads or haze trainers next
@@coopertodd28 love to hear that!
How’s that shoe weight compare to air max runners?
Haven't tried the air max runners so I can't speak to that
how would this work for a cross training HIIT shoe.?
Meh. So many better models on the market, tbh! Do you have a price constraint?

all Nike shoes are narrow, trash for anything lifting. Adidas makes real wide shoes
