For sure. Sometimes it feels like 10% initial code, 90% time figuring out why initial code isn't working in game. Being mindful of scaling is underated on tutorials as well
Dude when I first got into programming I made a simple platformer with bullet time played it for an hour went to sleep woke up and the bullet time stopped working never figured out why

Yep good call. I accidentally broke how my spawn point variable works when I was adding ammo types. I fixed it

How long have you been developing games?
Just a couple years in unreal. I did make a couple super simple Flash games for new grounds when I was 16. That was over 10 years ago
