I’ve seen some things, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen the valves on a bass clarinet used as a percussive instrument. Really cool.

Different and beautiful. Watching the flautist seamlessly transition from singing to playing is pretty remarkable! Singing with this group would be so such an out of body experience!

Thanks Ryan for exposing me to such interesting music. I really enjoyed this song by these obviously super talented musicians. Can't wait to see the collaborations as well. That bass clarinet sound gets me every time.

This is weird: it's popular though I'm not sure, mixed reactions, which is weird because I often find I want to make music like that - spooky and fun, experimental and organic, but usually stop because I think nobody will want to listen, I worry I'm straying into cultural appropriation (I don't think this does) and I don't have the skills. And a lot of other stuff is New Jack Swing/Hit Factory influenced acapella folk-punk. Or something. Very outsider music . It reminds me of my piano-guts improvisation that is on here though.
Anyway very cool. And I like it that you can do something different and support artists you like!! I'm giving it a thumbs up

yeah, I was going to post that the riff they go into near the end reminded me of the ascending guitar riff in 'Just' by Radiohead. Come to think of it, 'Just' would be a great choice for an acoustic cover for this channel
That bass clarinet - wow, what a tone. I love it! For stuff like this, I like to listen with it (i.e., what's the movie scene that might be playing with this as the soundtrack?) and against it (what would Tarantino do with this, that is, how would this play against our assumptions about what action might be happening?). Anyway, I love the energy in this piece, and everyone did a great job.
