I have a 56 plate 1.9 dci dynamique and had very few problems, only niggles are the electric handbrake-complicating something that worked perfectly with a lever and a cable for no apparent reason and the auto wipers...even with brand new premium wiper blades it just isn't as good as normal intermittent, other than that in almost 3 yearsit's had the usual service items the only issues have been a faulty map sensor at £85 and a software update/reflash at £60 done by a renault dealer and they cleaned it and did a healthcheck too for that price.Overall it's been a good car
HI Rottensteam , on the whole very reliable the electrics being the only major weakness( check everything works). Also a little underpowered up hills against my 2007 mk2 model which is 2.00 ltr. Brake pads also wear very quickly and the bulbs seem to go in the headlights quite often. Keep it well serviced and you should have no problems (if the cam belt has not been renewed for a while make sure this is done also). All the best with it. al.
Hello sir. I'm about to buy a 2002 1.8 Dynamique, you said that you had one of those before. Anything that i should be aware about? I think it is a great looking car.
Hello boss I just bought 1 yesterday I owned a laguna 51 reg before and I must admit the 2006 dci 2.0 diesel is amazing. This morning the front passenger window made some weird noise now it is not opening any tips? Also how do you activate the keyless entry? The garage where I bought the car didn't have it. Thanks the video u posted was awesome informative. All the best
Hi MrMaj23 , The window problem is usually a switch with a bad connection just take out the switches from the arm rest and use some switch contact cleaner on them . If that does not cure it then remove the door panel of the offending window lift , and check all connections and for any thing blocking it`s movement . The keyless entry is automatic you should have three buttons on your key just pressing the lock and then the unlock 3 times usually engages the system. If your key only has two buttons on it then it is not a key less model. Kind regards, al.
Hi overthere! Very nice and fluid info video you've posted, thank you a lot! Excellent review of used mid class limo. I have one question if that won't bother you (and if you have any knowledge of it, of course); an original 85k km 2007 1.9dci first owner is offered to me these days, only has an 4gear automatic transmission: what is your idea of such model, please? Thanx/cheers!
dereton33 well, I don't care about the speed, I'm not into acceleration, speed, etc...just wanted to ask you for your opinion regarding the transmission gearbox quality
A really good down to earth review, this is what prospective buyers want to see and hear. Well done that man!.
Thanks Robert.
Great video. I have owned three of these and currently own a Range Rover Evoque but still rate my third Laguna as the best car I ever owned.
Thanks for sharing! Me too.

I love my automatic handbrake! The only thing that could be improved is if it had a hill holder function.

Mines the same engine but I've had mine remapped to 185BHP. This engine is fantastic!

four gears and an automatic would mean it being rather slow, I would leave it alone.Al.
