How to solve density problems when you have to calculate volume by displacement of water in a graduated cylinder. Density and volume and given, and mass in the unknown.
I should just skip school and start watching your videos, they are way better and easier to follow than my teacher
Ok yeah I so much I agree with you,he's awesome!
Go one 😊
Hey everyone, I'm here to help. If you have any questions or just want to learn more, click on the link in the description above. It'll take you to a page where you can ask me questions.
Tyler, there have been many comments abt how we would know how to find the density of iron if were in an exam but there hasn't been a reply, could u reply cause its a important question
Tyler DeWitt I'm just a kid
Ai
With my science teacher and my math teacher, i couldn't understand this, but now i do thanks to you!
Very helpful. Thank you. I have watched a few of your videos. They are easy to follow and you explain as you go. Thanks again.
hey tyler, got a question, in general not everyone knows what's the density of iron, but what if this kind of question came out in an exam, u cant google stuff with ur phone right , so i was wondering is there another method to know the density of an element based on the question
I think it is impossible for this type of question to come u should have at least 2 variables without them u can't do the question and by the way your teacher can't for example give u a question like
Find the mass of the object so based on that question you should have density and length in the question
yes
Thank u so much, my chem teacher kinda blows, so I have been looking for something like this for like an hour!! U r a lifesaver
Your vd are so helpful for me. The chapter-end test is going to come within two days and your explanation helped me for revision. Thank you so much. I mean it .
love your teaching style!
you have a gift for teaching and making this easy for us right brainers too :) Thanks sooo much!
When we have a material which is denser than another one, does this mean that it has more number of atoms per one cm^3 ??
sir , why liquid are stored in cylinders? why not in a rectangular shape container?
thank u for the help Tyler it would mean alot
This man just saved my life 😭
You are great teacher
Thanks a lot u help me understand my work in a better easier way.
Thank you I love your videos I hate physics but your videos are really easy to follow
Thanks it was really easy to follow
Wow amazing 👏👏 l love your teaching style
Tyler, can i ask how did you get the density of Iron
Thanks!!! So useful
You are good explainer sir
Thank you!!! You rock!!!!!
very helpful Thanks you excellent teacher
Why is the final answer 2,160? Do you just get rid of the 4?
great video
thanks you are so smart
thx you are helpful
Thank you so much for the help x
Www.

How are we supposed to get the density if we are doing a test? I guarentee phones are not allowed on an exam.
J.R. Navarro idk what test you're doing but we're allowed phones!
J.R. Navarro surely you're given a data/formula sheet to refer to, otherwise it should be stated in the question.
TheTman9898 But if we are given a question like that how are we suppose tk find the density??? Please anwpswer my exam is tomorrow
the teacher would probably give you the density
wow, i just now understood that cm^3 and ml are the same.
Amazing
How did you get Destiny
What I want to know is HOW to derive the density from the periodic table of elements, specifically from the atomic mass.
How did you get the density. My final EXAM is tom
did you pass?
Why don't we use the 150 ml to determine our significant figures for the answer?
+Rose Smith true
Yeah, wouldn't it be 280mL not 275mL ???
Why, why not?
would 2160 need to be written 2.16 x 10^3 ?
I don't think so
when he rounds the final result why is it 2,160 and not just 2,164?
+Ana Patino he only needed three significant figures because 275 and 7.87 both have three sig figs. If he kept it as 2164 it would've had four sig figs. you always want to write your answer with the least amount of sig figs possible.
+Ivan Mendoza thank you! makes perfect sense to me now
so 0 is not consider as a sig fig. so if 54561 / 45124 = 1.20910000 instead of 1.20913483??
codina doesminecraft A 0 is significant depending where it's at. Any zeros after the decimal or in between two non-zero numbers are considered sig figs. If a number ends in 1 or more zeros and ends right before the decimal point then it's not considered a sig fig. For example 100 has only 1 sig fig, but 100.00 has 5. So in your case the answer would just be 1.2091
3 significant figures?
Is anyone else's midterm coming up so they are just binge watching his videos to study. cause same.
❤️🙏
is it possible to find the density without checking it in the internet or from a book? o.O
I don't know how density from?
ur my god
Can u please solve this question : A graduated contains 35.5 cm cubic of water . what is the reading of the level of water after 19g of silver metal is submerged in the water ? Please
Pazizsha Shaziz 19g divided by 35.5 is density
1.87
How did you find the density of the iron? 😱 without the mass? 😥 without even looking on the internet? 😥
He either knew it, or he looked in a book or on the internet
He said it himself that you could just look it up.
you cant do that during a test
The thing here is that we want to know how to get that iron's density ourselves without internet, because....yeah in life we can use any trick that gets the job done, but for a stupid test we can't use certain resources....and school is the main issue why most of us are here...
he said that he got it from the internet
can someone enlighten me on how he get 7.87g/cm^3 ??
Mickaela Rodas he get it online
1mL=1cm^3. He converted mL to cm^3
If u can search up the density online, why not just search up the mass....
Lol right
siuuu
college Chemistry vs Tyler DeWitt hmmmm? Tyler DeWitt is my choice tbh...
Why each video equally many digits? Dont u want variation? Dont u know the topic good? Why repeat urself?
