I don't know what I'd do without prayer! It helps me in my life so much. I was out of town for a week so I asked God to get me to my destination safely and then when I came back home I asked Him again for a safe trip. Both times I thanked Him and gave him glory for taking care of me. Sometimes the road is a scary place when you're driving so I'm thankful I could pray. God wants us to spend time in prayer. He wants that time from us. This has been a great study. It taught me so much. Thank you for doing it!
I thank God for both your lives! I thank God for giving the both of you such godly wisdom (through Scripture) and for you guys to continue growing in spiritual maturity!
So true, prayer is indeed a privilege... our response to His graciousness... when troubled, pray. When happy, I sing praises! When sick (like for the past week) I asked my prayer warriors for them to include me in their prayer for healing... thank you ladies for inspiring and continue on encouraging people on knowing God more and His words. I truly loved the whole Bible Studying. I have been struggling a lot with it. I was wondering if you girls could try to do a Fall bible study. This summer bible study, even though it's now September has helped me a lot to understand the message of James. And I took a lot from it and I want to apply it to my life. So I have a question do we keep going in prayer for the same thing or should we just pray about it once and move on to the next?
Ashley B the Bible says to be persistent in prayer, that being said, I believe God desires for us to pray continuously even if it's about the same thing! There is definitely nothing wrong with that! His desire is for us to continuously lay our petitions/worries/concerns at his feet.
Ashley B , someone once told me, pray until you see the accomplishment of the things you are praying for. So pray, again, again and again. God hear our prayers. Be blessed
