I've been to most of them....few I've never heard of. 80s mall scene was so awesome and fun.
Such good innocent fun! Like the scene in Weird Science. LOL.
Yes it was.... always a great time with friends/family
@@shagandvinyl😂😂 Now that F'n Rad! 🥂🍷
I remember K-B toys.
Long live the 80s and 90s ❤. Absolutely The Best Decades Ever!miss those days Sooooooo Much!!
We want them back!
I’ve gone to Borders bookstore, with the previous name of Walden’s. Kb toy store a couple of times, Sam goody for records and cassette, yes it wrote it. There are a couple of stores I know about, but many I haven’t heard at all.
Definitely some good memories going to the mall back then! Especially Sam Goody!
Wow. I worked at Casual Corner in the 80’s. Merry-go-round, 5-7-9, and Tom McCann were next to us. Crazy to think about it now.
Hopefully it brought back some good memories!
Little did we know how much these memories would mean now😢
I loved Casual Corner. Very cute things
Stores I would want in my mall again
- Disney Store
- Electronic Boutique
- KB Toys
- Radioshack
- waldenbooks
me too!!
I wish they could bring back the 80 it was the best time even music
The music was so good! We’re hoping our videos bring back great memories!
I miss the Wet Seal clothing stores. Great clothes and prices!
Oh, Sam Goody was another favorite of mine and I bought many records there.
I never heard of the wet seal

I shopped at the Wet Seal during the 1980's. Not sure if they were all over USA or of course it might depend on your age too, at the time when the shop was around. It was a great store though, inside many shopping malls.
Wet seal was sort of today's Forever 21, but better. :)
Gadzooks was around LONG before 2005! 1995 was its peak in my area.
Yes! It closed in 2005. So sad. :(. And so many stores closing this year. Things are forever changing
I miss some of those stores, but I guess now there is the fun of using apps for fast food restaurants and delivery, or just go online shopping for anything and then see what happens IRL
Going to mall now is a inconvenient, but once we're there, I love it! Brings back memories. :)
Radio Shack for computers and software! I had a 1000 RLX with RAM and 20 mb ROM/DOS 6.22, Windows 3.1 and my fave: Desk Mate(a user interface, simple but incredibly useful!)
I AGREE WITH YOU 100%!!!!!
I was a big fan of 5 7 9 shops
I used to love that too!
I remember many of these growing up in the 90s/early 2000s
Hopefully this brought back some great memories!
PLEASE BRING THEM ALL BACK TO THE LOCAL MALL!!!!
I just wish we could go back!! such a great decade!
Thanks a million for this video! I felt like I just went back in time. I am an 80s child and 90s teenager and love the malls. I remember many of these stores and I feel so sad that many are closed now. I enjoy online shopping but still love in person shopping, especially with clothes as I want to feel the fabric and try on the clothing. I remember a number of these stores in my local mall but they are now gone. I am getting nostalgic again. I love your content and will binge watch the other videos! Hope you can upload more. Just subscribed and hope you get more subscribers!👍
Thank you so much! We will be uploading more videos soon to bring back amazing feel good memories! And one surprise video coming soon. :)
Wow haven’t heard these names in a while! Thanks for this 😊
You’re welcome! hoping to bring back great memories!
I remember when James Bond pulled a Sharper Image credit card out of his wallet to use in opening a lock. It was an 80s movie, but I don't recall which one.
Do you remember what actor it was?? i’d love to go back and watch it!! love all the james bond movies!
Justice existed as recently a 3 years ago.
no, I think you're wrong about 5-7-9 being founded in 1983 because I distinctly remember them (and choosing not to go in there because I thought it was only for really small, skinny girls) in the 70's.
Thank you! i’ll have to do more digging and find out now! Could be 70’s!
They were in malls in the 70s
Most of these stores I either never heard of or didn’t like. Only ones, Fashion Bug, K*B Toys, I worked there!
Working at the mall should be mandatory. lol.
I love shopping online now.
Me too! Even though i return 90% of it. lol
I used to shop at Merry Go Round all the time in the 80s. I still own nearly all the clothing and accessories I bought there. Same as with Hot Topic. My 2 favorite stores in the mall. Wet Seal was also a favorite. (Jan Griffiths).
I wish i would’ve saved all my stuff from back then. :(
@@shagandvinyl I still wear the clothes to this day, and always get asked where I got them. (Jan Griffiths).
People voted for this!!
We love getting to go back in time and remember the good ol days! :)
E. J. Korvettes had the best music dept where "the Cars" "Fleetwood Mac" Meat Loaf" would sign Albums
Yes! That was a great store!
Some past stores I never heard of and one of our worst lives doing is drinking alcohol a legal drug causing us mucho problems easily avoid able
I SO MISS THE MALLS......WAS A GOOD TIME OF LIFE
Definitely a special time in our lives, just sad they are gone! But we'll always have the memories. :)
One problem with on line shopping is you only see in photos in catalogs sizes hard to tell just right mucho often I have done ok this way somewhat then so so I wish I could still get glasses cases vertical just drop them in at the top hard snap open close noisey I donot care for or the one I use well is all for now can not do better males mens fashions suits are like vw bugs cars years of same styles suits worn females have mucho choices variety some are well best i like is plain simple nicely done we should be doing nicer not often changes throw it away where I donot wonder why we have mucho loco volks sicks mucho of which is easily fixable preventable 😊
Theras nothing like shopping at the mall with friends. Too much of life is on line now. it’s just not the same. :(. but we do have great memories! :)
You clearly skipped way too much school!
I’ve never heard Deb spelled out when saying the store name😆it’s just Deb
LOL!!
