Yeah I think this guy might be the real deal. I went to one of the pre-season games and in the second half today I saw the style of play I saw there really coming together. Building up from deep with short passes but then accelerating into space in the final 3rd. They suck the opponents in and then open up the channels. I’m excited!
I like how he ignores the media trying to bait him about Quansah coming off. He just ignore it, which is the best approach. Klopp was intense and all business, but maybe felt too much compassion at times for players, media etc.
“I don’t believe in one man. I believe in the team more than an individual”. I really like how Slot answers the questions put in front of him. Very focused, no nonsense replies!
Slot showed exactly what all Feyenoord fans already were saying. it can go bad the first half but he is tactical so good, he will tell exactly during half time what to do to win the match.
before he gives an interview he waits for half an hour and reads the summary and reactions in the media and really prepares himself before he gives an interview
Genuine, honest, straight to the point and a big personality, knows when to make changes and was honest about the first half. I know it's only the first game and it was against Ipswich but still, I'm very happy with Arne Slot so far. Hopefully this will continue.
I really hope we get to play Liverpool in the Champions League. Just to see our coach again. I am so glad he is doing well and he won the first match. Its also nice to see that he is the exact same as he was here. He will do amazing. Liverpool fans couldnt have hoped for a better coach after Jurgen.
@@rubenfr1908 all respect to feyenoord but liverpool are much bigger, way more fans and more press which means slot has to deal with more criticism etc
He’s set for greatness with the team he’s inherited. If he’s given the resources to tweak and change a few things they can go on to win the big trophies.
Arne is typical Dutch. Not holding back but telling what he sees and thinks. Pretty straight forwarded. His players will love him for that even the substitutes. Simply because they know what to expect!
he’s a perfect replacement to succeed jurgen he talks honestly i love klopp and he goes down as a legned in liverpool but sometimes he was too nice with players glad to see Arne not afraid to take players of if they are underperforming
@@redpillras3456he has done it few times, and Liverpool has turned around matches so many times in 2nd half. So saying Klopp often waited too long to make changes is too early, this is Arne’s first game and when Liverpool will be in different competitions around December, with players being injured or not available due to fitness issues, we will see.
Aside from his calmness on the sideline that positively affects his team, I really liked the timing of his substitutes: he reacted the first half long balls problem on the half time. Let alone replacing both full backs and bringing Gakpo which brought a wave of new energy. I know it's too early, but Slot in charge looks very promising.
I’ve liked him from his very first interviews. Now seeing his press conferences and pundit interviews, I’m convinced he’s the right man for this club… honest, straight talking, calm and collected.
It’s fun to read all these positive replies being a Feyenoord supporter. We already knew everyone would love his choice of language. Arne is a different lane!!!

Well done to the “shiny one”. I honestly don’t want to get ahead of my self but i am getting Bob Paisley vibes here. Then i found out Bob Paisley’s first game in charge was exactly the same date as Arne’s some million yrs ago today and Arne is the second Liverpool coach to win in his 1st game in charge( Paisley won his 1st game too). History may not repeat itself but it sure rhymes alot. YNWA!
Began to fall in love with this man. Felt the same like i loved klopp at the first. I meant, he's pretty similar based on his mindsets and react to every question. He is very brave, quiet optimism, a man of faith- very trust his squad. Those all the mentalities of juergen.
Little bit surprised he specifically called Jarrel out. He’s a young lad still learning his trade. But I suppose he wouldn’t have got anywhere near the first team unless he had the mentality to deal with knock-backs. Definitely a different approach from Arne so far. He’s clearly believes 100% in his methods.
He didn't call Jarell out. He was actually protecting him. He took Jarell off so he didn't want fans or the media to make him into the scapegoat by saying "it wasn't only Jarell".
Football needs, nowadays, a human manager like him. With so maaaaaany distractions nowadays. No bullsh$&. I hope that the business of football doesn't shut down his character in interviews. He could be an example.
I like his style of management. Talks very well and does not run away from the hard truth. Liverpool have got excellent manager. Love the way he changed things at half time against Ipswich. Made all the difference.
He seems more upfront about his team, and about any deficiencies. Bringing off Quansah was tactical rather than, as I thought, because of injury. It bodes well that he is ready to swap out players if they are not performing.
Like the straight forward responses, praise and rightly so for Ipswich in the first half. Then praise for own team in second half. Hope his character doesn’t change and of course the team keeps playing well.
Impressed how he saw weakness dealt with it at half time didnt mess around. Also wasnt obsessed with making 3/ 4 changes at once disrupting the rhythm, which klopp did a lot last season.
He was probably thinking “ay has Ed Sheeran got a gig in Serbia tonight?” Just like the commentators thought we all were 250 times during the 90 minutes
Already showed he's not aftaid to make a quick call, bringing off Quansah at half time, which impressed me. Most of us would have started with Quansah also, but it is tight between him and Ibra and today Ibra showed his importance against physical teams (if he can stay fit).
enjoying slot ball i think he might be the best and only signing we needed. He is a tough guy! but nice personality and very clever. His training is very inventive and the changes to the way we play, quicker getting it forward, better pressing, more lethal in attack.
In the second half, he addressed the issues without hesitation, despite hurting the player's feelings. In respecting the passionate fans of the LFC, it was a great reaction we liked very much.
As a Feyenoordfan I still haven't seen the full "Slot" potential today. The players weren't all defending and hunting the ball as great as Feyenoord did. That being said, the combinations were pretty solid. In the first half they just lost it in the last phase of the attack. They weren't ever really in trouble. Slot, like so many times at Feyenoord, knows what to say during half time and it worked out in the end.
Congratulations to Liverpool FC I would like to see them win the title. Because I love football from the 80s! but I would like to see Ipswich win. second place in the league. because I love football from the 80s.
