For 3v3 maybe have 1 "runner" on each team that can go back and forth.

@@bigstelad I'm no map creator, but maybe a ghost powerup or something. I don't know the scope of what map creators can or cannot do.
There is so much potential with this concept.
Now make one where the map is split vertically (horizontal wall midair) and one pair of players spawn on the top wall, so one pair is essentially in charge of aerials

I've been wanting to see rocket league played with "positions" like soccer. Perhaps next make this but force one keeper, per team, 1 defender and 2 attackers, ect.

For threes..one person should be “captain” and that person can go on both sides.
the way leth jumped on the wall in the final game and just said "score it" made me crack up.
This makes passing plays so much more satisfying
4v4 with arsenal and some other pros would be lit

This is great! For an added twist, you should create an opening in the Barrier inside each goal, so that you could both be on the same side, but still need to strategize
This limits the power of the ball chaser! I love it!
I wish psyonix actually made this as an extra mode.
Would be great if cars can have miss bot instead of goals.

You should make another version of this where the wall looks the same but some things are different:
You nor the ball can cross the wall, although you can still see through it.
There is a ball on both sides of the wall.
Once one side of the field has a goal scored, they then have to wait and then the other side has to score. Once both sides have scored, if orange scored 2, they get a point. If blue scored 2, they get a point. If both score 1 each, nobody gets a point.
So basically its kind of like 2 separate 1v1s with half a field each.
A modification to this. It is similar to a game played in tennis that once one 1v1 ends, the ball can pass through the wall and becomes a 2v2 with one ball. If the same team scores both the 1v1 and the 2v2 they get a point.

This is a perfect map for a *ProAm* match! Amateurs one side together andpros together would be sick

This is actually really cool, It's like 1v1 2s or something. I really like this map.
I have a really good idea for you to do on this map! 1v1, but if the ball goes to the other side of the wall you both would have to switch sides to keep the play going, making for an interesting and unconventional game mode!
It would either be really interesting and fast paced or just terrible I’m honestly not sure
This video was amazing. It could be cool to make the wall not extend through the goal so you could swap sides through net, might create some interesting strategies like when leth got demoed

This was actually a challenge in the Prequel.
You would have to 1v2 medium bots without being allowed to cross the midfield, you would die immediately upon attempting brings back memories

This is how heatseeker should look like, with the wall in the middle of the field, because the amount of ppl that are just going for demos is crazy :D
This is a really cool concept and I think switching up gamemodes and playing Rumble, Heatseeker and Dropshot would be insane on this! Please make it happen that would be genuinely sick! :D

You should take this map and have the wall rotate, would add more chaos to this idea.

Leth, this wall concept would be awesome in a rotation inforcing arena, where players must rotate to keep there place on the field.
kinda like the forcefields in the dual with Darth Mal in Starwars.
Video Idea: regular field but there is a black wall in the middle where u can't see anything on the other side but you are able to drive through it and the ball can go through it
I think it would be much funnier if the wall insta demos. Idk how much it would change but it would be more entertaining.

It's funny how in all of Leth's video's he plays like an SSL and his friends are like platinums with very good mechanics.
Goatberry and Leth on the same team is overkill
Put a ramp on the bottom of the wall so you can drive up it and do wall plays and redirects easier
One thought I had while watching this
You should leave the goal open and have that be the area to switch sides. Like you can go inside the goal and around the wall to defend and not be helpless, or 2v1 if you feel ballsy you wont let it go to the other side.
Could lead to some pretty cool dynamic plays
I feel like this map would actually really encourage passing and would help players get better at it.
*Idea* : It would be interesting if you tried to do team pinches on the middle wall. this might be fun, as the opponents would have to both be back to save it, if it goes either way. New Freestyling video? Like if you agree?
Make a map with goals on the ceiling without ultimated boost it would be funny asf to watch you guys play that
I think 3v3 with demos would add a nice twist, it can change who 1v2s and who 1v1s. If you do 4v4, you could cut the map into 4ths with 4 different 1v1s
Now imagine with two balls, two actual 1v1's at the same time, but the scores are combined so it is technically 2v2.
3v3 where the 3rd guy can play the entire field would be an interesting variant.
this is what rocket league brings to a other level!

Leth you should make a map where both teams try to score on the same net. Chaos in the making.
Leth you should do two different fields and have players 1v1 but the scores count for both sides. Disable demos so they dont repawn in the other field. Just a fun little idea

Also, you could add another split down the center line and make everyone respawn in order to get into any plays outside of their square.

I think it would be cool to have a pair of golds or plats 1v1ing and then leth and guh 1v1ing
It would be cool if you also made a version where the wall stops at net so you can save shots. You can both be on the same side, but it’s just super risky
Disable Demo, 2 goals on each side, "split" 4v4 and "split" 2v2 modes.
Alternatively: 3v3 with a powerup that lets you pass through the wall once, but has a long charge period.
Man I wish psyonix would make community servers a thing (or something like that) so we could queue up for these awesome maps you make.

You should make another one where if you touch the wall you get demo but only if the ball is on your side
