It really is. Super Mario Bros. Was my first video game ever back in 1988. It started my life long hobby of gaming, and while I've played a million things over the years now, I always come back and play the original. It's bizarre to be able to say that I have 35 years experience playing Mario Bros. That being said, how you were talking about seeing those elements like backwards scrolling, picking up shells and such. It feels like a fever dream I would have had in The early 90s. It's very very surreal seeing it given how used to vanilla smb I am. I definitely want to see more things like this out. Can you recommend any good Rom hacks similar to this, please and thank you :)
That's very neat hack. QoL features, bit of later games' stuff, good level design with fair challenge. It's easily could be recommended to anyone who just wants more SMB 👍
I think another thing that could be a REALLY fun add would be some kind of collectible hidden in each & every stage. Something well hidden for curious players to seek out. Would give the game a lot more replay value!
An amazing hack that shows that the NES was capable of far more than the Nintendo devs had thought for! Even parallax background scrolling is made possible and this is really stunning! Imagine what this Modder(s) could do to classics like Ice Climber & Co… Respect tho the Modder(s) who made Super Ale Bros. come true! Oh… and Nintendo… instead of suing those talents off their talent of coding such cool stuff for a console that is almost 40 years old, you should instead get in touch with them and offer them a platform for releasing these gems for, say, virtual console. The NES is dead, long live the NES!
"hack that shows that the NES was capable of far more than the Nintendo devs had thought for" Yes, it's so far ahead of what Nintendo could ever do, that's why the majority of it has assets taken right out of Super Mario Maker
Lol, when you first stepped out in the castle in 3-1 I brushed my screen, thinking the stars were crumbs that had somehow fallen on the screen that I just noticed.
Buenas!!! Saludos Papifuertes 🎉
@@Polish_SSRYou have to download a Super Mario Bros. rom and then the ips file. Search an "ips patcher" and upload your files as said in the page. It's not that hard
all those features being put into SMB1 is so impressive. even just the backwards scrolling is bizarre to see in this game lol
Being able to go backwards in SMB here felt like breaking reality! :O
And grab shells too

This is the most impressive SMB ROM hack I've ever seen. SMB1 in its final form.
Fvkk yeah! This would be the true sequel
World 1 0:04
World 2 6:56
World 3 11:29
World 4 15:20
World 5 19:54
World 6 23:59

@@the-NightStarmaybe the sprites were reused but the devs of this hack coded all the extra stuff
Recently beat this one too. It's good!

The parallax scrolling in 1-2 is insane
Wow... This looks and feels like it was made either in Mario Maker or in SMBX. Or even like a heavily Modified SMB3 romhack made for SMB1
I think the creator could perfectly hack Super Mario Bros Deluxe for NES.
This romhack is amazing!
I rally apreciate yoy videos. Thank you.
Keep going. What a master you are at playing this hacks ❤
Looks like a very vanilla game. I like it, I'm currently leaning to kiazo but i might have to run through this
Wow, a Mario hack that actually looks fun and well-made, as opposed to yet another stupid Kaizo hack!
You just bad at playing kaizo go for standard

An Amazing SMB hack.
But is it playable on an actual NES? Not that I expect any of those to still be around close to 40 years later... ;D
At the beginning I thought it was an SMW hack.
Can I have a download link please?
❤
Bagus 👍
I really wish the link was not RHDN.
I wish i could play the game but i don't know how the hell am i supposed to open an .ips file
@@Polish_SSR od tego jest ips patcher, jest stronka na której musisz połączyć ten .ips z normalną wersją SMB w formacie .nes.

are you sure this is a romhack?
Jesus bless you all remember that everything that is good comes from God ,
I'll just play SMB3, thanks.
