- Top 10 Most Carried EDC Fixed Blades 2023. These are all the edc fixed blades that I carried over the past 2 months. Lately I’ve carried an edc fixed blade almost every day because they are so useful plus less maintenance. I am thinking about doing a video on the different ways I like to carry them and if that is a video you would like to see please let me know down in the comments. What are your thoughts on edc fixed blade if you don’t carry them I would suggest giving it a try because I think you will enjoy it.

The Arc & Iron Flintlock is probably the next custom knife I'm going to order. So far, for fixed EDC nothing I've found beats the Creely Mako. The pocket sheath with the Ulti-Clip is just amazing

Really enjoying the fixed blade videos. Recently picked up a Axial Alpine in s35vn… pretty sweet for the price. Once you get the third Terra Knives knife, it would be great to see them side by side and hear about the differences and what you think of each compared to the others. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for posting this video. Just got the Off Grid Knives Hoglet. Great design, nice sheath retention, versatile clip design, super sharp, and feels just right in hand. This is my absolute favorite small fixed blade.

Nice knives! I also edc a fixed blade, they are more reliable and faster than any folder. I love my Spartan Enyo. Sharp, super pointy stylish and it rides in the pocket without you noticing it!

DEFINITELY wanna see a fixed blade EDC carry option...ive recently started admiring and showing some love to the fixed blade styles and even picked me up an SOG fixed blade with the ring on the handle like described here on one in this video...so if you could do a fixed blade carry video that would be epic
I don’t generally EDC a fixed blade but recently picked up a Bradford Guardian 3 and have been carrying it quite a bit lately. I’d love to see a carry video.
Boring reply, but my favorite EDC fixed blade is an Esee Izula in S35VN with aftermarket extended scales from The Knife Connection. I also like the Esee Xancudo fixed blade.

Arc and Iron is a tank! Very handy. Small enough to have with you. Big enough to Baton wood for a fire! I like it. I'll check $ on that one.

Great video! I love fixed blade videos. One note: I couldn’t tell since there wasn’t really a good side view in the video, but it doesn’t look like the Oak City Leather sheath has a welt, which means it may be intended more for slipjoints/folders. Prolonged used with fixed blades can result in stitches get slashed or frayed, which compromises the sheath. Great looking sheath though!
Always happy to see fixed blades getting some lovin'! I occasionally EDC a small fixed as a change - some good options out there. Never looked at Arc & Iron before - thanks for showing. Sharp blades all.

I recently picked up a Bark River mini gunny in magnacut, modified the sheath to be a pocket carry. Such a great edc, like a little work of art with it’s antique linen micarta scales / toxic green scales and brass pins. Can’t wait for it to patina
What did you modify on the sheath? I was thinking of doing something on mine but not sure
@@phil. I cut the belt loop off even with the front part of the sheath, then cut the threads on the leftover part of the belt loop. I sliced each side next to the main seam so not to cut the main threads and then peeled the remaining piece of belt loop off, it’s glued under the stitches. So I just left two little knubs of leather on each side of the sheath.
I picked up on amazon a “Universal Metal Belt Clip for Holster Making” , it had the closest measurement to match up the holes in the sheath to mount the clip. The clip was around $7 made in America

Humid states play hell on blades. I used to always keep EDCi in hand living in Florida and Georgia. Working in construction, I used to carry an 0562 in 20cv and had actually had it start to corrode slightly. It always wiped off, but the humidity is a tricky thing to work Around.
The orange handle Magnacut kephart is amazing!
Really great preview. Really good blades. I usually carry a fixed blade Winkler Crusher Belt knife with rubber handles or a Scallywag Tactical and TOOR knives collaboration called the MUTINY. Perfect EDC it is black fits my hand good I love it , and would highly recommend

Liked learning about Tera and the giant mouse has always been a back burner question for me.
I have a Nic Groniger (Michigan ) small blade that is always nice. You can pick out something on his gallery, choose the steel, and the spine thickness. I got the small pocket tank I was looking for from him.
I can’t speak to anything else since he’s sort of a one answer, minimal correspondence kind of guy-maybe depending on how his projects are coming in?
I like most of those. Especially the ones not available😐😂. A carry video definitely would be nice!

Personally I carry a larger fixed blade (something around 5-6” of blade), and then a pocket knife to cover the bigger knife’s weaknesses

Whoa! My internet is getting 720p60! Nice! Just started carrying a Kizer Begleiter fixed blade. Love my XL folder, and the fixed is the D2 Kephart-leaning version. Not super impressed with the sheath and draw, but like the knife a lot so far. Like to try the Kizer Baby too. Good video!

D2 Steel I am happy with it.

Some really interesting knives - I find in particular the Hogue Extrak very cool. My currect EDC (when I carry one) is the TRC Classwic Freedom which is absolutely fantastic. I am also looking very hard at TiNy Floe from UG Tools (a small German company). Their 3D printed ultra-lightweight Aluminum handles are super cool. I am seriously considering the Sheepsfoot version as a utility blade around the house.
Just noticed you got Micarta scales for the Giant Mouse, looks sooooo much better with the Micarta scales on it…💯😯

I really like my Kizer Horn. Not fixed... for fixed I usually carry an Enyo

Hoglet is a gem
I believe white river put the ring on the handle so that if you are out in the field and gutting a deer or other game, you can hang it on a tree limb instead of putting it on the ground or back in the sheath all gunked up
I’m not a fan of the ring on the end of the White River knife, either. I saw a recent interview with the designer & he stated the primary reason for it is to hang it on a tree branch if you happen to be processing game & need to set your knife aside for any reason as opposed to putting a dirty knife back in the sheath. A 2nd reason for it was to aid in drawing it when scout carried.
Benchmade Hidden Canyon Hunter is a great option.

I really like the MKM Macro but the Heat Treat you mentioned is concerning and it’s a lot of money for an Edge that won’t hold…
I don't have an edc fixed blade yet, however I do have the off grid alpha dog. That blade is ridiculously awesome and completely unbreakable , not great in public though 😂😂😂
I'm a big fan of carrying a fixed blade for EDC...for some tasks a folder just doesn't suffice imo.
What are your thoughts about tkell knives? I'm thinking about getting one but I'm not sure if I should. Please help
They are amazing knives, very well build with many options to get exactly what you want. They have so many options from edc blades to tactical and crazy hard use blades. You definitely can't go wrong if your interested in a particular model. And all usa made with great customer service, also if you got questions just call them up, it's what I did. I think Nevees knives did a video on there knives to give you a idea of there quality.

What is edc?
No functional reason for the finger ring !? Are you serious? Not much of a knife guy are we? One main, irrefutable reason, to put your finger in and make almost impossible to have it taken away from you in an altercation....
The handle on that final one is horrific? Sharp edges everywhere. And every one of those knives is gargantually over priced, purely because they are made in The USA. Raw material wise, and craft wise, there is no justification for those prices.
