- Tired of staying home? Let's take a road trip to Round Top, Texas where we'll go to the flea market and then we'll head over to Waco, where we'll visit the Silos and eat at Magnolia Table. Are you ready?????

BREN-UM…… 😂. We used to set up and sell in Warrenton. It was hard work but really fun too. BREN-UM 😂 is the home of Blue Bell Ice Cream!
I’m from Calif. My husband and I went to Texas to visit my sister and husband...ahem.....We were within an hour of Waco, so of course we went to visit and shop. Yes, middle of the summer for us too, ugh! (I live near Death Valley and Texas was hotter). But, we loved our trip, especially our picture in front of the silos. So glad you took your road trip with your mom and bestie! That was worth all of the money spent...so, good for all three of you. P.S. I have all that I need (after ordering) to make the spaghetti glass/mason jar beautiful vase or whatever you call it. I am a long time crafter but I’ve never made anything like this. I love your channel and every single thing you have made. Good luck with your channel and life itself! Hello to your mom!

Southerner Picker Tip ... Go to outdoor sales early of the morning try to be finished by noon. Then hit the indoor shops of the afternoon because they have air conditioning and you in out of the heat. I always take an hour in between to rest and recoup. Thank you for sharing your trip looked amazing.

We really want to go to Round Top sometime, especially when they have all those shops and tents open! Our son lives in Austin, Tx and we went through Round Top on our way home one time, but it was the wrong time of year. Back in 2016, not long after the Gaines bought the Silos, we took a trip to Waco from Austin. We had a ball, and really enjoyed ourselves! It was great to see in your video how much more is done since we were there. I found the prices quite high for most items. Magnolia Table wasn’t in existence yet! Although, we did see the little house they bought and made into a BnB. Thanks again for sending me the link!! I truly enjoy your channel and love your thrift flips for inspiration!!

I 'm sorry you went through there on an off time and missed the Round Top, but when you go back to visit your son.....now, you'll be able to go to Magnolia Table! My sister and I are in your video at The Silos!!! I’m to the right when you are videoing the wall with books on the edges. We go to Round Top and Warrenton every fall. So fun!!!

@@FLEAMARKETRESCUE I know right!? We make the trip every year from the Colorado Kansas border. I think we have been there eight or nine times now and absolutely love it! Warrenton is our favorite place as well. We like bar W, tin star, Northfield, the tree park, the Campbell building and the 3 red buildings best. Also LaBahia, Carmine and the Y are favorites. Are you going again?
@@judytax9887 Actually, Texas is pretty far from us, so I don't know when we'll get back there, unfortunately. Have you ever been to the Springfield, Ohio show...that one is an AWESOME show, too!!!
@@FLEAMARKETRESCUE no we haven’t. We heard about antiques week from the Junk Gypsy tv show and have been going every fall since. It’s a 14-15 hour drive for us but we love it!

This was a great video, love your travels, the heat rash on your Moms legs was probably due to the heat opens pores and the dust irritates. If she adds a cortisone cream on her legs before walking in that dust it will keep that nasty rash away, this same things happens to me. Keep the videos coming. Love them.⚫️⚪️🟤
OHhhh....when I seen her leg....I was like, "That's doesn't look good!" My friend, Carma...was like,"I don't think that's heat rash!" Yikes! Thanks for letting me know why that looked like that and how you can prevent that! I'll pass that on to her!
