Love the milk can. I think the dents added charm to it 🤗. Love the IOD stamps. Maybe I'll invest in some but I just love the charm of stencils and mod podge
Hi Melody! Thank you so much! The IOD moulds are really great to have, because they take your project to a whole different level! They are like $20-, but well worth the investment!!! Maybe pick your favorite one and start with that! You'll LOVE them! Anyway, thanks for the compliment and for watching!!! You have a BEAUTIFUL day, Melody! XOXO

I have that same calendar frame in my closet that I couldn’t bear to part with. It was the last Christmas present my mom gave me. Now I know what to do with it! Thank you!!!
Hi Judy! Ohhhh...I LOVE THIS! I'm so glad that my project gave you an idea to do with the calendar frame that your mom gave you! I wouldn't be able to part with it either! I totally understand, but now you'll be able to turn it into something AWESOME that you can display in your house! Every time you walk by it....it will always make you smile, because it was from you mom and you're still preserving that memory! Again, I LOVE THIS! Thanks for sharing, Judy! XOXO
I love the menu and the piggy box and milk jug came out great too! Great ideas thanks!
Hi Joanna! Thanks So Much!!!! I appreciate you taking the time to let me know that loved the projects this week!!! I have more Trash to Treasure projects coming on Thursday! XOXO Thanks Again and you have a GREAT weekend!
Love your things! Please don't take this comment as a negative, but think I'd enjoy much more being surprised at how beautiful everything comes out instead of seeing it in the intro.
Hi Janice! OH...thank you for that comment! I don't take that as a negative at all! I could definitely leave out the finished project in the intro, however, the cover of the video would have all the finished things, so you'd still be seeing them. I could leave the finish projects off the front cover, as well, but the only thing is..if I show just all old junk...people might not want to even click on the video, because it's not a appealing. Hhhhhmmm? I'd have to think this on out, but I thank you for the suggestion, Janice! XOXO
My mother had and antique milk can she used as and umbrella 🌂 holder. I really like the sheep 🐑 you put on yours.
Oh....that's cool! I could totally see putting umbrellas in it! Thanks for sharing!
The farm-style decor projects turned out amazing! Great ideas! Hope you do well at the market!
Thank you so much, Avery's Nest!! XOXO Yea, I'm excited to do the Vintage Market...we usually do really good at this one, so fingers crossed! Anyway, thanks again for the sweet comment and for watching! You have a WONDERFUL day, today!
These projects are excellent, fabulous.
AwHhhh, Tracy! Thank you so much! I truly appreciate that! What a WONDERFUL compliment! XOXO
I think I would have left the dents and worked around them . I’m a old farm girl still homesteading and I love the old milk cans. It looks great
Same
You always give such great ideas
To fill the inside of milk can, you can also recycle packing foam peanuts with paper to top it off.
OHhhhh.... good suggestion, Patty! Thank you for sharing that! XOXO
WOW what an inspiration for sure girl thank you thank you I am also getting ready for a sale this weekend I have been working on things like a mad woman LOL I really look forward to your videos
Anyhow have a great day
much love and light from Utah
Hi Cindy! I hope your sale is going great!!! Thank you for saying that the projects I do give you inspiration! That is the biggest compliment, so thank you for that! And, yes...I know how it is....a day or two before a show...it's crazy! You just want to finish up every thing you can to bring to the show! I usually get like only two hours sleep before a show! It's insane! Anyway, I hope you have a GREAT show and make a lot of money! Wishing you many blessing!!! XOXO

Love everything once again! But oh, Kelly, that milk jug 💞 I don't know how you could part with it, you worked so hard on it. But I'm sure it's a labor of love... It shows! Happy weekend!
Hi Mary! Thank you for the compliment on the milk jug! Yes, I did work hard on that one!!! It was in such bad shape, wasn't it?!?! And, although....I'd love to keep it, after putting all that work into it....I just have so much stuff, Mary! You know? Anyway, thank you so much for always taking the time to leave such WONDERFUL comments! I truly appreciate it! You're AWESOME, Mary! XOXO Hope you're having a GREAT weekend!
they all look great
Thank you so much, Evangelia!!! That was so sweet of you! XOXO
Great stuff! I'm going thrift shopping this morning. Hoping to find some cool stuff!
Hi Karen! I hope you found some great treasures on your thrift shopping trip!!! I LOVE going thrift shopping! You just never know what you're going to find! Anyway, thank you for the compliment and for watching! Have a BEAUTIFUL weekend! XOXO
Everything looks great. Just a suggestion On the menu board, if you would change up the colors on the iod or the word "menu" it would break up all the black. When you said you could use it for Halloween I agree it kind of looked gothic with the black.
Hi there. Just found your page. Love your “rescues”. Just wanted to give you a tip regarding the IOD letters. If you put your mold into the freezer for about 15 minutes after you add the clay to all the letters you want to make, your letters will pop right out of the mold. Easy peasy. The same method can be used on all the other IOD molds, especially if you need to make a lot. Just pop out of the mold and let thaw for about 10 minutes or so before you start to glue on your piece.
Hi Carol! I'm soooo glad you found your way here to my channel! YeAaaa! Welcome! Also, I'm really happy to hear that you love the rescues! I post NEW videos every week....most of them are the Trash to Treasures videos, so stay tuned...I have much more to come!!!! And, Ohhhh...what a GREAT tip on the IOD moulds! Thank you so much for sharing that, Carol! I'm going to try that....I think that will make my life sooo much easier! Anyway, thanks for watching and for taking the time to share! You have a WONDERFUL weekend, Carol! XOXO
I love your channel!!!
You have the best ideas ❤️
AwHhhh...thank you so much, Tracy!!! That was the BEST compliment you could have given me!!! XOXO
I love your ideas!!!
AwHhhh...thank you so much, Anita! I appreciate that! XOXO You have a GREAT day, today!
Those IOD letters makes such a difference and makes the projects just beautiful!!!! When I see what you do with them, it makes me want a set. I'd like to put them on the clear Christmas ornaments!!
Exactly what I was going to say!!!!!
Hi Charlotte! They do, don't they?!?! They take your project to a whole different level and I totally could see them on ornaments! What a GREAT idea, Charlotte! Oh, you're going to have to get some! You'll LOVE them, I promise! Just start off with your favorite one. Anyway, thank you for sharing and for watching, Charlotte! Hope you're having a WONDERFUL weekend! XOXO
Awesome👏
Thank you! XOXO

tip...to bring out the dents on tin or metal use a small (shoe hammer) and bang it from the inside...easy and fixed..
Absolutely love them !!!! I’d have to say the sheep farm milk can is my favourite!!!! They all look beautiful
Hi Heather! I'm so glad to hear that you loved the projects this week and thank you for sharing which one was your favorite! That milk can was in such bad shape, wasn't it?!?! It really turned out good though in the end, so I'm happy to hear it was your favorite!!! Thanks for watching and for always taking the time to comment, Heather! I appreciate it! XOXO You have a WONDERFUL weekend!

Thats an awesome menu
OMG...I watch you on UA-cam! Love your channel! Thank you for great comment and for watching! You have a GREAT weekend and I hope you find some great finds this week!
love your style and your videos. One tip for working with the IOD letter moulds is to pop them in the freezer for a little bit. Makes them much easier to remove. Although you didn't seem to have much trouble. Even with the corn starch I couldn't always get them out
Thank you, Sharon and oh....what a GREAT tip on the IOD moulds! Thanks for sharing that! I really appreciate that!!! I'm going to try it! I think it's going to make it so much easier to remove those little letters! See...I'm always learning something new!!! So, thanks again for sharing that and You have a GREAT weekend, Sharon! XOXO
They all turned out so cute! It seems you need a hand sized sanding block to make sanding easier.
Thanks So Much, JoAnn! Also, great tip!!! I appreciate that! I think I do need a block for sanding...it probably would make it easier! Thanks Again and you have a GREAT weekend! XOXO
Your just so clever!! They all turned out really great. I really like the idea with calendar/ menu board n like you said you can fix it up Halloween or whatever floats your boat. Now that milk can, super cute. So glad you did this as Ive got a real old one that I got at a tag (garage) sale in Connecticut years n years ago. I sprayed painted silver but now I know what I’m gonna do… Kelly’s way LOL. Have to get those molds now. You’ve used them often n I really like it. Wondering if they have those molds in capital letters also. I’ll check it out.
Getting excited for my order to arrive. I’m sure any day now.
Oh, forgot to mention. The dents in the milk can gives it character LOL. Hugs ♥️😊👍👍
Hi Shelly! You know what...I think they do have those moulds in capital letters! And, yea...I thought the Menu board could be used either way....Halloween or an elegant event! Whatever you want to use it for! OH and you have an old milk can??? Yep, it looks like you have a project, Shelly! HEE HEE Also, I think you're right the dents, do give it character! Anyway, thanks so much for always taking the time to comment on the projects, Shelly! I really appreciate it! You have a GREAT weekend, my friend! XOXO

Kelly, thank you for your sweet comment back to me. I received my goodies yesterday n I want to THANK YOU so much for my little extra gift. Oh wow! Was I excited. I can’t wait to find something to use them on ( which won’t be to difficult)
I ordered the IOD alphabet but I tried to look through her page n I didn’t see the capital letters but it could be it didn’t show. I’m sure she has a lot of merchandise n can’t put it all on her web site. I have a iPhone n still learning how to use it as I wanted to leave a comment to her about the molds but this old lady couldn’t figure it out.
I love leaving comments on your page as you so well deserve it. Your so creative n I just love what you do with all those great finds. I love doing what you do but this time in my life it’s really difficult with a hubby with dementia. It’s gotten so bad that he gets so confused even in the house. Sometimes he walks around in circles. He used to be able to watch TV but now it’s getting to where he can’t focus on what he’s watching. So I’m constantly having to be with him.if I go outside to do a DIY he thinks I left him ( I tell him always where am at) Sorry, here I am rattling on about my life n you don’t know me from Adam LOL. Yet, I do feel I’m getting to know you as we do have so much in common. Well, I better stop yacking as I’m sure I’ve bored you enough. Again, lots of thank you’s for your sweet kindness n your words.
Go have some fun for me today if you can n find lots of goodies to make over.
Blessings to you my friend ♥️♥️😊👍👍
Love these! Your measuring cracks me up, two fingers on each side! I do the same thing 😂😂😂😂😂. How much are those ornaments?
Lanie, I had to laugh....you noticed my measuring method! LOL Yep, two fingers...each side....it's a foolproof method! Never fails me! HEE HEE I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that! And, to your question about the ornaments...they are $2.99 right now. They are on sale. They are normally $4.99. Anyway, thanks so much for making me laugh! You have a WONDERFUL weekend, Lanie! XOXO
Just curious Kelly as to why you used a sheep on a Dairy milk can? You could have done Kelly Dairy with a cow graphic.
I just wanted to do something different. Everyone does a cow and I thought.... Sheep are hot sellers....let's go with a sheep, it's still has that Farmhouse look that people want and I have to say that this can sold super fast at our Vintage Market! So, hopefully that answers your question. : )
Don't you want to cut the ribbon in half? That type of ribbon doesn't fray. That much a little secret and you know this too I think I've not seen you do a whole lot of makeovers.Let's take your candle flame and just melt the edge of your fabric or ribbon. So it doesn't fray half of that would probably be better plenty and you could have used that other half for another project
It’s called classic elements, I think.
Oh, it is Elements...ok. I couldn't read that....I think I'm going to need better glasses! LOL
Can you set this can outside now, or would you need to do something else to help it to not weather? (PS..it was funny the year you used, my dad was born that year), How much would you charge for something like the milk can that you did? (Only if you don't mind saying).I have now watched four of your videos. You can thank the Crafting Cousin's for another subscriber. I am liking what you do very much.
If you use a sealer on it, like wax or polyurethane ....then it will be fine, but you must use something if you plan on putting it outside. I personally would use a polyurethane on it. It works best for the outdoors. You can get it at Home Depot. You can use the Varathane brand in a blue can or another good one is, Polycrylic by Miniwax...also in a blue can. You use a brush...paint it on and let it dry. The rain water just beads off of it! It works like a charm. And, WOW.....you've watched FOUR of my videos already? Thank you, Darlene and thank you for subscribing!!!! I really appreciate that and will thank Crafting Cousins for sending you my way! Have a GREAT weekend! XOXO
What were you rubbing on the chalkboard?
Hi Maggie! It's just chalk....you take a piece of chalk and you want to rub it all over the board to condition it.
Hello, do you ever feel torn whether to keep or sell something?
Yes, Joanne! Some things I find myself not wanting to part with after I finish them, but I have so much stuff that I need to just let it go! I only keep the really exceptional pieces for my house or the cottage. Anyway, great question! Thanks so much for watching and you have a BEAUTIFUL weekend, Joanne! XOXO
😦😮
sewing box ? no. next time you find one , it is called a firkin I will buy it before you put stuff on it .
The paint is called DIY not do it yourself.
DIY is an abbreviation for Do It Yourself.
@@FLEAMARKETRESCUE yes you’re right but it’s just called DIY. Look them up.
