    Your work and parts are excellent! I will commission a build from you soon. I've had my zrx1100 for 22 years and love it just as much as the day I bought it. It would be so nice to do a build on it like this.

    Beautiful beautiful Mr Compton
    I will be in touch to add these parts to mine. I'm still looking for a clutch basket for my 2005. 😭

    The gap left after removing the airbox and exposing the velocity stacks is not attractive, imo.

    Nice build! whole lotta blah blah blah and not one throttle blip? Is this a bike video or a talk show?

    17 grand + ZRX + tech and fabrication savvy 2nd to none = a smokin beauty of a bike that has some soul…that doesn’t look like a universal egg bike.
    Winner winner chicken dinner. I can already see the greasy black streaks on corner exits.

    Of course James Compton knows how to build a bike. I only wish it had more of a true 80’s vibe.

    If I'm not mistaken that end can is manufactured by U-CP, it has a 60mm inlet and I believe the mid pipe has been flared to match.
    Check out Brian Wells youtubbe channel and you'll see one fitted to one of his builds.
    As for why I know, I sent Brian the link to the end can as not only does it suit the REX, its also only about £100 delivered to the UK from Japan.
    Ladybird style, without the price.

    Love your work as much as I love the mighty ZRX. Over the years I have owned a 1984 Z1100R (yes I wish I still had it sitting in my garage) a ZRX1100 and two ZRX1200R's. Currently I have an all original 2007 ZRX1200R awaiting a full restoration after years of been partialy exposed to all weathers while parked underneath a high set house. I was just wondering why your customers who use their bikes on the street and not just track days opt for bell mouths instead of pod filters?

    Love it, currently have a 96 ZX11 and thinking of going further into it with some custom parts, those are the exact wheels I wanted to buy as well. Great job on this one, well done!!

    The braced swingarm they use is so badass. Not sure if it a Yamaha or Suzuki swingarm, but I've seen that style before.

    Owned a 1100 back in the day .Really nice work front to back . Do you dyno each build when it's done ? What's typical HP / Torque numbers for this combination of parts ?

    • @JamesComptonCustoms
      @JamesComptonCustoms  Рік тому

      We have a number of different engine configurations for street and track so the numbers vary greatly. A typical 1224 street/track engine will get you roughly 165hp and 100ft lbs torque on a typical dynojet 250.
