La Fee Printemps (1902) Ferdinand Zecca Segundo de Chomón

This early silent film was released in France in 1902 under the french name, "La Fee Printemps. It was directed by Ferdinand Zecca and worked on by Segundo de Chomón who applied his hand-coloring technique to the film.
In the film it is winter and a couple invite an old lady inside for a meal. The old lady then turns into a fairy and makes it turn to spring outside.

La Fee Printemps was made in 1906 directed by Alice Guy Blaché, according to IMDb and the Oxford Encyclopedia of Authors Vol. 250, pg. 188
