Conan Exiles | Savage Wilds | Ep.22: Southern Island

- Continuing our Savage Wilds playthrough, in this episode we craft some more improved armour and then take our first trip over the water to the Southern Island. We start working our way down the west side, only to initially be disappointed with what we find there, but it gets much more interesting as we head further south!

if im not mistaken, excavated ruins are a easter egg to city of zhinge from the movie congo, but im not 100% on that lol

the grandmaster armorsmith knowledge can be learn at the top of the Queen's Tomb.. yes.. you need to climb to the top of the Queen's tomb where you can actually jumped down into the Queen's tomb.. that area you can't get into is the capital for the cimmerian.. there are actually 3 entrance to that camp, 2 of the entrance are quite easy to find if you know the way.. 😅 one way is from Ellwyn's pond if you run across the mountain range there is actually a gap that cut through the mountain range and it's all walkable no climbing required.. the easiest path is to follow along that river which is actually a cliff with lots of rocknoses right at the end and after the natural rock bridge linking to the other side of the river is the entrance to that camp..

@@AngaarUK you really need to add shima's compendium if you are playing savage wilds it will add a lot of recipes.. especially all those special crimson tide weapons recipes.. it's useful for agility base player or thralls..
I absolutely loved the explanation of the armor. It made things a ton clearer than anything I have ever watched because of you explaining the differences. Then you did some on the weapons as well. I like how you show the map locations as well. Nice combat. Very great, informative, enjoyable episode. Thank you.

Hello Angaar! Hope you had a great summer, mine was, shall we say, difficult but successful!. I haven't played in months and have spent some time catching up on your offerings. Can't say I'm a fan of No Man's Sky, but I get the need to try new old things. I'm kind of going off Savage Wilds as well, it just doesn't seem as interesting a world as Exiled Lands. Hope to catch a live stream live sometime soon.

No need to worry about not finding hard encounters on the southern island, you just need to look around more to find the trouble you seek. You can get some alright thralls from the Crimson Tide camps. Some massive places to explore and many bosses and dragons to boot and a massive working elevator or lift if you will. Have fun.

Black Knight armour, you go recipe, just need Eldarium, 8% Str on Chest and Legs
Nice, but don't think I have come across any Eldarium on this map yet 🤘😎🤘
From what Ive explored down south POI's everywhere. The farther south you go the stronger the enemies get.

not far from the gorilla's there is a family of green dragons, also on that island there is a cave entrance which leads to a dungeon, several different area's, a couple that do not flow into each other, but great fun and good for a few levels.

Hi Angaar, another great video. I've been playing conan since it first came out, but still learnt things from your videos.
I'm guessing the reference map you look at for POI doesn't show caves as you've been to a few places with caves and not been into them or even searched for them. Granted not all the caves have something in them worth visiting, but....

@AngaarUK can I ask...do you have a video showing the uses of the different types of lotus flowers, or the foods that give useful buffs? That's 2 areas I've never looked into in the game and think I may be missing out. I notice you always pork your thralls, I just give them steak until level 10 and then gruel, to boost hp and then strength.
@thecold-rays I don't, but in general Cooked Pork Rinds give a 25% damage boost, Salted Pork gives 15% Strength Weapon Damage and Salted Exquisite Meat gives 15% Agility Weapon Damage. All these food buffs last 1 hour and are separate from the foods for leveling bonus.
Grey and Black lotus potions both give an additional 15% Strength Weapon Damage, but no lotus potion gives Agility, however the Potion of Grace does
