Try to find an older player like Åsa Jinder, she is the one who made the instrument popular again for some years ago but she is 50+ now. Most of the people playing in this days are located in two regions countys (Gävleborgs Län (more precisly Hälsingland)) and (Dalarnas Län (Dalarna)) but not only in this areas. But the name of the uploader spells with Norwegian letters.

Hard to know how Norway would be today without the oil, but the odds weren’t low before Norway had oil. Also, it’s pretty cool for Norwegians that they can claim the origin of Vikings, just as a historical bonus.😄
