I know what antidepressants do I was just using Zoloft as an example because, of the ones I know, is used for the most disorders. They have different side effects, but they all have the same purpose. To make someone more energetic. If we're trying to base the pills he takes in the music video, I'd say Wellbutrin, because of its side effects, is the most like it.

Well although it's a beautiful song which it is!!! Don't get me wrong, but, that's most likely because although the song is beautiful and calming (there is another version of this and it's got a happy vibe to it as well, I recommend checking it out as well) the lyrics mean a whole different thing, listen carefully to lyrics and you'll see it, it's easy for me to spot for many reasons...
But yeah...

I was also supposed to go to Weathers tonight at the Complex in Utah but me and my friend are $10 short for tickets

whenever i listen to this song i think of him referring to his girl not being his imaginary girlfriend but the happy scape in which depression pills lead us into to think we are normal and happy but he says that giving our last grips on reality isn’t worth the price to feel only a little bit happier and by it takes strange things to feel normal is referring to meds and things you have to do to cure mental diseases and to finally fit in when you can’t, you never will, because fitting in is just playing life’s stupid game and i’d rather be weird, not normal, then sell my dignity to be a bratty plastic doll or the buff jock
