    I've been trying to do this using the center. So at 7:45 when you weld, I try it and I'm left with just the original 2 patterns and they are no longer grouped. I've tried over and over. I'm using the online version.

    This is a fantastic video and I have learned a great deal. I did manage to weld the large design but when it came to the small one with only the centre piece it will not weld - instead it just returns to the original 2 patterns even though I selected them all and they were all overlapping. I am using Canvass online and just wondered if it is because I have quite an old machine CM600DX? I really don't know what I have done wrong - please can you help.

    • @applelover53
      @applelover53  2 роки тому

      Hi sorry I’m out of the country at the moment that video is over 4 yes old I doubt the problem will be with canvas workspace it’s more likely the way your shapes are overlapped try making your design bigger then weld and then reduce the size

    Absolutely fantastic demonstration. I just need to try and link up my lap-top to my 300 machine, no joy with that so far. thank you so much for showing us how.

      You can use a USB stick to transfer cutting files instead of using a cable

      Thank you. Was hoping to try with the link. I get lost trying to get from usb while usb is in PC, transferring to it lol, if that makes sense.

    Having a problem with the "corner" piece of the design; after Ungrouping at 0:55, the corner piece is in multiple parts, not a whole piece. All the inside shapes aren't being cut out. How can I fix this problem? Thanks for your great work, you are an inspiration!

      Sorry i dont know, when i select that design and ungroup it i get what i showed in the video. you would have to select each piece by holding down the shift key on your keyboard and then group them, repeat for all three sections, if yours are different to mine. are you sure you chose ungroup and not divide because divide can sometimes breakup everything.
