I like that they seem to work for the noise canceling function, and they seem pretty unobtrusive which is nice 😊 I'm getting my boy a snood to help with loud settings, but this is definitely a helpful video for other ways to help him protect his sensitive, cocker spaniel ears 😊
Thank you for sharing another helpful clip. Eps is surprisingly ok with noisy environments but a close friend with a retiring AD and a young ADiT who are both noise sensative could really benefit from these to reduce their stress. Having great ears that are sensative can be very handy in an AD and their quality of life matters. She lives in a flight path where military jets sometimes do shows and public fireworks shows can be heard. I am definately forwarding her your helpful clip. 😎
On a side note:
We use a thin rubber soled bathroom mat. This is really handy on slippery public transport floors in buses and trains. Eps gets this stable ground mat to help reduce sliding and grip loss. It rolls up easily and we are very happy with how handy a waterproof, good grip mat can be. It only cost $10 at a carpet shop. We bought another one for $3 at an overflow shop this week.

We find the description of "She helps me by alerting me to changes in my medical condition" can be an effective way of communicating why I have an AD. It doesn't always work but most of the time it reduces further invasive questioning.
I am sad the bus driver was such a pain in the ...
and added unnecessary stress to the day.
I am glad the call sorted it out. I hope this inspires the bus company to better educate their drivers.

Glad you were able to find a not too expensive option and that they helped Luna by canceling out some of the noise. My dog is sound sensitive in certain environments so I would be interested to see link to where you bought them if you have one. I know you mentioned she can still hear you when you put them on but do you find that’s still the case even when you’re noisy environments like the bus? Also, i’d be interested in any strategies you have with you found that were useful with working her through situation/environment she finds to be stressful, such as her anxiety around certain noisy places. I bet other people would find it helpful also because I’ve heard many handlers mentioned sensitivity at something that can come up in certain environments. So maybe that’s something to consider making a future video about.

She definitely could still hear me in noisy environments, but the noise seemed to be much quieter to her. That is a great idea! I had a video of us training around a small concert to get her used to the noise, but I have no idea what happened to it. We definitely need to keep working on it, so I will keep that in mind. Thank you!
@@LunaTheServiceDoodle that’s good that she was still able to hear you even with headphones on and that it helped somewhat during noisy environments. I would be interested to hear whatever you are willing and able to share about your training experiences while working with her around sound sensitivity. I know it can be a complicated issue to work through the best of luck and I know you’ll find a way to do so that works well for you both.
