Thanks for the discussion here! I've gone as low as 3-4 hours in the past without difficulty. Currently doing mostly keto OMAD with occasional lunches as I'm still adjusting. For me, the reason is that I'm simultaneously in a metabolic corrective stage after a couple years of eating poorly and drinking more, and also just started Invisalign and just don't feel like flossing and brushing all the time. Later I'll probably relax my window again and see how things go.
I bought a Biosense meter and wondered how many ACEs is considered therapeutic? I am a carnivore but fast 3 days before chemotherapy infusion. I have already RESOLVED metastasized tumors and am working on the last cluster of cells. Please advise. 👍
Interesting info re: melatonin & insulin! Would appreciate help with how to re-set my clock after decades of working night shifts - I cannot get to sleep before 4/5am (even 6am) and get up around 1pm-2pm. Have tried melatonin, blue light blockers/screen avoidance, early to bed & early rising (the worst!), eyemasks, you name it - none of it works! Nightowlism seems to run in my family....
Shift work can be quite difficult on the body in general - and especially the circadian rhythm. There is some debate whether being a night owl can be genetically linked vs growing up in a family where everyone tended to stay up late so you learned that habit early in life. Dr. Panda suggests two other methods of adjusting your circadian rhythm which involve meal timing and exercise (exercise around the time you'd like to start naturally waking up and eating during the time of day you'd like to be awake at). Best of luck!
Thank you for sharing more of Dr Panda’s knowledge with us! (❤)
I just love you guys! I can’t get enough of this stuff! Thanks for all you do… I don’t have words to tell you how much I appreciate it!
