Your people can help you talk to the natives and discover who will scam you or hurt you in other ways in addition to tell you where to eat 🤷 🍽.

I was reading comments and read some loan shark comments... even in Luzon and Visayas... some loan sharks may mysteriously disappear after loaning someone in big amounts...or loaning to many who are closely afdiated with one another ..who knows...maybe to avoid repaying the loan... i believe there some parts of Mindanoa that are best avoided if one cannot speak Visaya or other Mindanoa local language... speaking tagalog language may be a red flag ... Start talking to the local 'imams' to get connected and see what can be done to save the victim...

Many of the recruits for ISIS actually came from Australia believe it or not. Many from Malaysia & Indonesia & also the native peoples of Basilan. Many still live in Basilan & southernIslands , Sulu & Jolo, (which are advertised as tourist destinations now) crazy. Not too long ago when a church was bombed in Jolo.
Also the Sulu Pirates have been in control of the Sulu Sea for over 2000 years, invading the main land of Zamboanga Del Norte & getting Slaves.
All common History.
They are a tribal people like the Taliban are & the British were there in Sabah, The Americans (moro massacre, 1898-1906 war, as well as the Dutch, Spanish & Portuguese. All these Nations threw rocks at the beehive, & we have Terrorism as a result of that.
Also keep in mind many Police left when Duterte got rid of corruption in the Police too, & those ex Police are still disgruntled & have the knowledge to target this ignorant man posting his life on the algorithm for all to see.
For years foreigners are warned about the South areas. Listen to advise and be careful always where ever you are.
There's been tales of headhunters the southern part for decades. The movie "Plane" deals with no-go zones too.
Actually danger is everywhere not just in the red zones specially if you bring out your "I'm American, you must respect me" card.
Any updates?
No update. Some people have been arrested but no new information has come out.
its just one incidence in Phillipines how many are kidnapped in America lol
The Vermont resident converted from Christian ✝️ to Muslim ☪️. This is no guarantee that he will be safe: infighting of Shia vs Sunni.
He lived in a dangerous area within Mindanao. Bad 👎 He thought with his small head more than his big head🙎♂️2nd bad 👎 event.
I travel to and from The Philippines 🇵🇭 for 40+ years. Tips I, other Americans, foreigners (pov of Filipinos) follow: 1 stay north of Sulu and Mindanao 2 think with your big head more than your small head 3 test the Filipinas there: they have the burden of proof to establish trust. Russian 🇷🇺 saying: one who smiles 😃 too much is suspicious 😈. 4 establish a network there. Your people can help you talk to the natives and discover who will scam you or hurt you in other ways in addition to tell you where to eat 🤷 🍽.
A really bad situation Scott, however I find it a bit strange that with these warnings his own wife wouldn't have said "you or we have to get out of here and live some place else". I mean she above all should have known just how hazardous it was for him to be there. They did find a body of a caucasian floating near the shore, and it hasn't yet been identified, ... but it could be him. Too bad really when common sense would have said not to live there and heed neighbours warnings.
In The Philippines there are places you shouldn't go !
36 years in The Philippines I have never have any problem but stay in recommended places !
In Europe I am much more at risk !
well put
I was reading comments and read some loan shark comments... even in Luzon and Visayas... some loan sharks may mysteriously disappear after loaning someone in big amounts...or loaning to many who are closely afdiated with one another ..who knows...maybe to avoid repaying the loan... i believe there some parts of Mindanoa that are best avoided if one cannot speak Visaya or other Mindanoa local language... speaking tagalog language may be a red flag ...
Start talking to the local 'imams' to get connected and see what can be done to save the victim...
body of a man mind of a child. tragic for the young widow who put her destiny in his hands qnd now will be shunned for life in her community.
This is for foreigners don't marry a local Muslim there and also don't go to red zones area.
always surprising when you see the most peaceful of all religions acting peaceful again.
Yes, just as well they peaceful
@@alfredopampanga9356 well they peaceful just to Muslim's . true
They found a white person body yesterday floating in the shoreline of the beach. They are not sure its this guy in the video.
Yes no official report on identity.
He's in wrong place, and wrong time
How about the body that washed up on the shore recently?
What also concerns me is didn’t this young man have a mother or father that cared enough for him to tell him to get the hell out of wherever he was in southern Mindanao?
If you are foreigner and never want get old then go to Mindanao. Red zone
I haven't attempted to watch his video on his channel, apparently they're still up? But the snippets shown on other YT channels are very weird, he seems to love showing how fit he is and loves talking about how dangerous the place is and how he's especially in danger, sorry, I just don't understand his attitude.
26 and a liberal.
Damn
😡🤬😡
Not even safe for Filipinos.
HE LEAVES THIS GUY IN MINDANAO AREA AND LUZON IN THAT PLACE THAT YOU ARE LIVE ARE SAFE BATAAN IS A SAFE PLACE AND THIS GUY THAT GOT KINDAP IS WAY FAR AWAY FROM YOUR PLACE JUST SAYING

The Abu Syaf has not been tied to Elliot Eastmans kidnapping. Fake news 4 clicks. Unsubscribed!
They were not tied to it in this video either. That was made clear.
This young man should not be living there in zamboanga especially Muslim area his in laws cannot control bad people among their community he should have listen to the warning of his inlaws there was pretty much good intelligence before the incident oh there s anew information he was loan sharking with the community lending them money with 20 per cent interest itong know how true is this parang 5/ 6
It's his fault they warned him but he ignored the warning ,if your a FOREIGHNER you should knew where is the red zone in a country don't try your luck or courage to go in there
