Stomping Dracs is a reward in of itself. Possibly even more rewarding than stomping clanners, despite being so much easier.

Imagine they'd move on to developing MW5:Clans and give it DLC instead of MW5 since it's on UE5, would be kind of weird to switch back and forth.

This has grown to be my most played game on my console, I was sure it would get old with the lack of UI, but they’re still making improvements. Its poised to be one of the best games in this generation.

even with AMS you get some damage in if you bring ONLY LRMs

The War of 3039 will be interesting to see. PGI should do the Andurien Crisis for a House Marik DLC. Either help the Anduriens leave the FWL or help the FWL put the Anduriens back in the Marik fold. It started from 3030 and lasted until 3040.
I spoke to the narrative director of MW5 a while ago, and he said he thought about it, but the Andurien crises would be difficult due to how long the conflict was.
I'm not ruling it out, but PGI simply might not feel like putting the time and resources into creating that DLC. Especially since they just announced MW5: Clans.

@@flashbackfliphonestly good that they are making a new game. Mw5 was good really only with mods. I hope they fix that slight of honor they call a mechlab and also hopefully we get animations that don't look like duck waddles or whatever the javelin does at high speed.

@@det_mcnugget1025 Everything I have heard from PGI themselves has contradicted this statement, even Russ made a comment addressing someone calling Dragons Gambit the last DLC. Theres still more things they could release for MW5M, like a GDL campaign around the Helm Memory Core, but I do agree that there arent a whole lot of events they can pull from thanks to the start year

@det_mcnugget1025 theres going to be at least one more dlc before MW5:C comes out. As MW5 will remain the dedicated mercenary company simulator for the franchise, it's possible we'll get a few more dlc in the future too. MW5:C is going to be more focused on the clan invasion era, I'd be surprised if we got even 75% of inner sphere mechs currently in mw5. Gotta add all those clanner mechs, new inner sphere stuff, and so on.
if anything, the release of MW5C is but a stand-alone expansion, this game will continue to be updated every so often. Lots of things in the Inner Sphere to do.
The war of 3039 and the beginning of the rise of Theodore Kurita! I've been wanting to play in this era... forever. One of the few where the focus was on the Combine rather than on just the FedRats and Hanse (and his offspring).

This is one the one game that never leaves my SSD. Thanks you guys so much for the continued support of this game. Really cant wait to see what you guys have in store next for MW5. Really would like to see the option for Joint operations where you can split the portions of earnings with other players and they can bring there mechs along within the tonnage limit or something along those lines. Kind of like a drop in coop style. Really would like that instead of just having to and try to find different people to play with. Either way looking forward to what comes next!

@@battletechpropaganda Steam page is already up for MW5: Clans. It's a standalone singleplayer "sequel" to MW5: Mercs. It's more akin to MW4: Vengeance and MW4: Mercs if that helps.

There is so much story potential in Battletech. They could churn out DLCs for hundreds of years.

Very excited! Are we working for the Combine or Fed Suns? If we are working for the Combine, we all know how this will end, as just about any Mercenary Company knows how it will end when working for the Dracs. If this is true to lore, it won't be a good ending for us.

Well, 50/50... Clan sequel was announced. Mechwarrior 5: Clans, but it's not tied into MW5 exactly
Alternatively, download the YAML mods, and get Coyote's missions and VonBiomes while you're at it.

Rasalhague is exactly how it plays out in the lore, ironically. Just insane blobs of units thrown around on the steiner Davion border during that era. I guess that's what happens when one side has no competent officers and the other is sending them all to fight border conflicts with Hanse Davion

clans will be the next game, and the last dlc for mw5 will be in q12024, this was oficialy anonced on a g7 meetings. the new mw5:Clans game will be a "remake"of sorts, of MechWarrior 2

piranha games, please fix those stutters when Ryana radios in / new units spawn. i heard it is related to asset loading in UE 4 or something. please fix those stutters they are annoying and immersion breaking in otherwise perfect mech game. this is a direct order from the company commander himself.

there is also always that classy double PPC variant...
3x (light) AC5s per arm tho....

I must admit id rather be fighting for fedcom, but I guess as a hired gun I should just focus on who is providing the paycheck. anyways in all seriousness this looks really good and looking forward to playing it.
In the base game, the entire Concord of Kapteyn (Marik, Liao, and Kurita's semi-official ceasefire alliance post-FedCom alliance) wants my merc company wiped out and my head on a stick.
This dlc I think is more centered on the Combine and the War of 3039.

Mech Clans better be alot like the 90s mech warrior games. There is no "tactics" in the current Mercs one, its not bad I love it, but its not great.
