- This is the first time some of my buddies (Andy Montgomery and Bryan Thrift) have been in a jet boat! We’ve been friends a long time and have fished together here and there along the way. We were in SC for a cup event and on my off day we hit up some water close to where they live but have never fished. The fishing was fair but the fun was big! Even getting the boat launched was an adventure 😂

This is absolutely the best video I’ve seen in bass fishing videos. Andy Montgomery the smart slow talking thick headed stronger than he knows South Carolina bumpkin. Brian Thrift the untreated ADD fast fishing smooth talking fish catching North Carolina bumpkin. And Ott Defoe our own slow methodical down to earth good family man sneaky fish catcher from East Tennessee. What a crew!!!! Thanks for letting me be a fly on the side of the boat today. It brought back memories of me fishing with friends and fun times and the picking on each other that goes with it. Again, great video of three great guys 👍😁👍

This is the best video I’ve ever seen you do. This is just like fishing here at home with our Jett boats on the Susquehanna river here in north central PA. If your ever up this way and want to pound smallmouth on the river I’ll be happy to take you out. I’m really surprised you guys didn’t throw a fluke in this video. I’d definitely be throwing a fluke a spook and a jig

yup they are, fished with Ott as co-angler about 12 years ago at the Lake Norman FLW, he was awesome and knew then he would win a Classic one day
I like the Jet Boat series. Reminds me of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Love Ott's laugh too. Upgrade to Rockproof boat. Rocks are no problem.

This is real river fishing!!!! The drone concept is a great idea. In the past, it could have saved me some major headaches. Thrift & Montgomery are a good combination to fish with. Might not learn much but never a dull moment. Great video Ott 👊👊

Loved the video. I asked Andy Montgomery that you Ott Defoe and Andy Montgomery are part of my bucket list to fish with. .y wife and ai fish all the time together. I'm 61 and not a pro but we hold our own in a bass boat.

Ott, I’m not far from you. If you ever want to fish the Chattahoochee river or a few of the other rivers around. They are very jet boat friendly. I would love to learn some lessons to uses a jet setup, I’m planning on buying a G3 in the future when the finances allow it

BigBay access, Gaffney side of river , ten minutes from me , fished that a good bit , I can only make it to tha first set of nasty rocks near N.C. line ...could go further if I had a jet boat ...

The problem with all these river /jet videos, is it’s just gonna send more people. I’d prefer the citiots stay in the city, and the lake.

What river is this I live in the low country and have always wanted to catch a small mouth never really new they were in sc wouldn’t mind making a weekend trip to give it a shot.

Bryan thrift ever gets around Sam Rayburn he can park his rv if he travels with one for free in my yard I have 50amp hook up water / sewer and 110volt for boat charging all ready with nice grass front yard where rv goes if he let me fish with him 1 time

Ott, not certain if you read comments but this is the TN topwater walleye dude. You had my back on BTL and I wanted to say thanks. No one ever believes me. That is why I posted some vids. On UA-cam..,walleye channel. Or “topwater walleye”. TN has some of the best. I am a bass fisherman but catching those eyes on top. No other blow up like it. I message to every pro on BTL if they have ever done it. I know the BTL people are tired of hearing from me.
