Great video! I appreciate seeing a 'vanilla Italy' playthrough with the latest DLC in 2024, a lot of old tutorials and videos don't mention new features like supply and railways, and that was the part where my plans fell apart in the in-game tutorial.
If you go throught the focuses to establish the Africa Orientale Italiana as a puppet you can skip all the resources and stuff to get the needed compliance and it completes the Ethiopia compliance mission.
I actually like to keep the one factory on tanks to avoid losing the production efficiency, and I put my first 2 Army XP into giving it a 2-Man Turret. Then I go from there.
Wow. This has turned out to be much harder for me to do than I thought. 6 times, and I haven't been able to get Ethiopia to cap before the first level of escalation.
Use Messe and plan till the troops are ready. It could also help to bring some troops from Italy and let them push from south and the Alpini (Mountaneers) from the north
