Thank you for your comment. You can, but it's complicated. On the Home menu in OneNote, you need to select the Outlook Tasks drop down and flag the item as a Task. You can customize the task or even assign it to someone else. In Teams, you need to add the app To Do or Planner to the menu (by clicking the Ellipsis icon to add other apps), then the flagged tasks will show up in Teams as well.
